Probably farming methods, because the carrots I grow and the carrots I find at the supermarket are usually mildly sweet.

Then you must be a carrot lover. :P

When I was a kid, I would just take whole carrots and eat them raw.

Now I'm more likely to cut them up and eat them raw because I don't have to keep putting down most of a carrot to do other things (plus now, I can safely use sharp knives) or to cram them into almost everything I cook.

That sweetness is really annoying to me. It's rather reminiscent of aspartame, or sucralose.

No. Aspartame has a disgusting aftertaste and generally tastes like shit. Carrots do not taste like that. I don't know what's wrong with the carrots you're eating, but they don't taste like that at all.

I prefer my carrots cold, crisp, and smothered in dressing. I also love carrot cake.

Good. I don't want to think that anything in the shape of a penis looks delicious.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Pumpkin. Fresh sweetcorn (pamonha <3).

Pumpkin is a fruit, corn is a grain.

It depends on soil and cultivation use and variety and...

Rockets (arugula) in Angra dos Reis are awesome, are nice in Niterói, are okay in Rio, and are bitter abrasive in Nova Iguaçu. Lettuce and watercress have similar patterns, albeit they are more uniformly bland, and also much less delicious than rockets.

It's not genocide! On the contrary, I think I speak for all of here when I say that we want to ensure the continuance of the Apiaceae Family, not wipe them out!

Our desire to eat gratuitous amounts of carrots means that we will make sure they never, never die.

I predict the carrot will outlive the human race!

And whatever bizarre species of crow or raccoon or what have you that succeeds us will feast on carrots and realize their awesomeness, just as our ancestors did before us!

It's where the plant stores a lot of sugar, so yes, carrots are generally a bit sweet. Just like beets.

Indeed. Only dark leafy vegetables and beetroot taste normal where I live, really. Onions taste sweeter, but they're much more abrasive. In some seasons, cutting them can make anybody else in the house cry, doesn't matter if they are in a really distant room.

Vegetables prepared by restaurants in central Rio are all awesome compared to our produce.

Unless the perfection of carrots themselves disproves evolution.

If Kirk Cameron had used a carrot instead of a banana, the whole world would be evangelical Christian, even Richard Dawkins.

As it stands, I think it's quite clear that the universe was created by a Cosmic Carrot who transcends space and time.

When I have carrots around the house, I'll occasionally gnaw on one for a few minutes. I've never been a fan of carrots by themselves, though I love them in canned chicken soup.
So yeah. Carrots.
Major things to note about me-
I'm religious.
I'm feminist (Or Egalitarian, I guess)
I'm stupid.

Not necessarily in that order.
