Yes.

They are nice eaten plain and boiled with salt to me, but not without rice.

White rice + boiled potatoes followed by brown rice + boiled potatoes the following day is the ideal food after I abused my liver.

So don't use mayonnaise. I like mayonnaise on ham or turkey sandwiches, but I don't think it goes with carrots. Carrots are for stir fry or stew, not sandwiches.

sweet?....maybe its just me or the farming methods but i didnt get anything remotely related to sweetness from carrots. just really bitter. first time i ate one as a kid i gagged.
