We don't have taxis where I was born and raised (Mississippi), but I went to Atlanta one time and I felt sort of nervous getting in taxis because it was always a guy with a turban driving. I was afraid he was going to knife me or drive off the bridge screaming Allah or something. Racist I know, but I couldn't help it. I understand why people would want a driver that makes them feel safe and comfortable.
