South Korea wouldn't keep the north independent. If anything, it'd probably just create some temporary restrictions (such as preventing South Korean businesses dominate the north, and preventing a massive downpour of North Koreans into the south) until things become more equalized.
I'm 99% sure North Korea also claims the peninsula, and has brainwashed its population.
Being governed by Seoul might create unrest if they were to be outright annexed. I think a puppet government is the appropriate choice, and one Seoul would take, before reunification - just like Vietnam.

Ahh, I admit my knowledge of the peninsula is rather limited, so that does seem like the most likely course.
I did think to myself after I posted that "Wait, South Korea claims North Korea...)

Sorry, I'm paid off by the Corporate Communist group of Rothschild Jewish Bolshevmuslims that control the world and want to take away White peoples guns and make everyone have a microchip implanted, so obviously I have to state that things like "fema camps" are false.

I like the possibility of a coup in North Korea. It would be about damn time to say the least.

It's probably fake, considering a lot of outrageous claims are made about Korea.
Also since we'd probably be hearing about these cases a lot more considering the prevalence of obesity (including those who are much, much fatter than Kim Jong-un) in Western countries, if things like this happened this easily.

1. railway to china/russia/europe/etc
2. north korea has rich minerals and plus rich in resources + advanced economy = great
3. korea strong (nukes)

4. Lots of interesting antiquated weapons, WW2 artillery, etc. for museums on Reunification!
On a more serious note:
4 was probably increase in workforce, or something else.

Quoting sources within North Korea, the respected New Focus International news web site has reported that a ban on new travel passes to leave or enter Pyongyang was introduced on September 27.
And while the North Korean authorities have in the past limited access to the capital, the latest restrictions even apply to permanent residents of Pyongyang, who are by definition the elite of the regime.
DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!
Well this is certainly an interesting development. With KJU essentially incapacitated due to illness and rumours that he isn't even in control of the country anymore, what does this latest development present in terms of the potential for stability in North Korea? This appears to be as of yet unchartered waters for the regime and I can imagine things might be a little tense.
What say you, non-North Koreans?
