So if she's an Australian citizen, revoke her citizenship, and deport her to whatever country is willing to take her.
^ This. I know some people will say that's extreme. But if you burn our flag.. desecrate our monuments (especially war memorials) then you have no place here.

Whilst I pretty much agree with you, burning things and leaving them unattended is a bit over the line.
That shit's dangerous, fuck the 'symbolism'. Symbolism changes on a whim.

Yes, fire hazards are bad. Hardly warrants 100 lashes or a beating and exile or what have you.

I wouldn't know - this time last year I was cramming for end of year examinations, in Victoria. We have our own fires to deal with.
Admittedly, it does seem our bushfire season is offset compared to NSW's. But I've never been good with dates.

personally, i think national symbols and memorials are something that should not be messed with; that being the reason why i was upset at many fellow brazilians during the world cup as they yelled "booo" as other nation's national anthem was playing. damn, that's disrespectful.
now, burning a nation's flag in a war memorial, that's really disgusting. i mean, not only she is being disrespectful upon a country and its honour, but she is also being disrespectful at those who have given their lives for their nation and their people. i'm not saying that this person should be exiled or whatsoever, but this happening, and the fact that there are people who dare to make such a disrespectful thing, deeply saddens me.
someone mentioned revoke of citzenship; i completely agree. you dislike the country so much to the point of buring its flag in a war memorial? then what are you doing there in the first place?
you might have noticed i repeated the word "disrespectful" a lot. because that's what it is. disrespectful, outraging and saddening.
