Here are the facts: so what do you think? Was Canada just being a smart-aleck? Should Russia proclaim that it is too mature for such childish fights? Are both sides just being immature kids?

As whole-heartedly as I support the almighty Motherland, this is more than a little ridiculous. Russia, and to a lesser extent Canada, are beyond mature enough to be above such laughable and petty online squabbles. Are they being run by teenagers? Both sides should just drop the matter. Agree that this whole geography lesson fight was immature and that both Russia and Canada are at fault. Of course, neither side is actually going to do that.


Please note: this is not a debate as to whether Ukraine's former territories are Russian or not, so please, I beg of you, please do not turn it into that. Please.
