Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-conservative; this is the political profile one might associate with a police officer.
It appears that you are accepting of religion, and have a balanced attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear capitalist.
Combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a paleoconservative.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a uncompromising realistic hereditarian with a firmly established worldview.

Apparently hating minorities, hating foreigners, and loving God makes you a good cop.
That explains so much.

I'm surprised that they consider me to be a libertarian. I noted my support of public education and welfare.

I've never understood that term. From what I've heard, it means "libertarian-lite", and given my political positions, I'm not a "small-L libertarian."

But, the results were interesting, I suppose. Probably inaccurate, especially given the fact that they consider me a libertarian, but interesting nonetheless.

Supports my claims that "libertarian" is too much of a blanket term.
They should really start trying to split it up into separate parties, otherwise nobody will ever take them seriously.

"Libertarian" is just a belief that the government just needs to back off a little bit as it is (whether intentionally or unintentionally) being tyrannical in some manner, hence "LIBERTarian" as in "liberty."

Maybe the Libertarian Party itself encompasses too many worldviews to be taken seriously, is that what you're trying to say?

I dunno. I did the test back in July, and the results for that are here;

Progressivism 37.5
Socialism 37.5
Tenderness 25

Your test scores indicate that you are a tough-minded conservative; this is the political profile one might associate with a nihilist. It appears that you are tolerant towards religion, and have an indifferent and uncompassionate attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a neoconservative.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a uncompromising idealistic egalitarian with few strong convictions.

Yeah, that's definitely the case with the Libertarian Party. They've been trying to get into the Republican Party to get some recognition.

It's like the Democratic Party and the Green Party being under the same roof though, which I'm sure the same thing will start happening with them relatively soon.
