I'm a man and I'm wondering if shaving my legs would be worth it, so I can't hold it against women who can't decide either.

Well, for it's worth, I do not find hairy guys attractive. :P That includes facial hair. I don't want to cuddle a cactus!

Some guys look good with beards, but I don't like that scratchy texture either.

I don't like it.

If hair is hard to clean you might be doing it wrong.

Granted, keeping things like underarm or pubic hair neatly trimmed can go a long way toward making it easy to clean. Long hair in places that are going to be confined inside clothing and rubbing a lot is more likely to get matted if left completely un-managed.

I think this is partially a generational thing.

Those of us who are over 40 (ahem) seem to be less obsessed with the whole shaving and/or manscaping your map of Tasmania thing than the younger demographic.

Whether that's specifically tied into expectations brought about by the greater accessibility of internet pornography now than when I was a lad (as is apparently sometimes suggested), I couldn't honestly say; but there does very much appear to be a generational divide here over expectations.

They don't get it because they are in their comfort zones. Not having any hair is healthier then having hair.

Please explain to me how having hair is easier to clean then having no hair.

Hair collects dirt faster then having no hair, hair collect oil faster, hair becomes matted, hair is dead cells.

Hair is literally dead material hanging off your body. It is dirtier then having hair, and the cleaner someone is, the healthier they are.

I don't usually like excessive body hair on anyone, but arm, leg, armpit, and pubic hair personally don't bother me. I personally don't like to have any body hair, and feel more feminine with it shaved, but generally I don't have any preferences towards people's shaving habits.

It doesn't make it easier to clean. But it also doesn't make it harder to clear. Whether I am clean shaven for I haven't shaven for a year, it is the same cleaning process. It is not any less healthy to have hair. You are pulling shit out of your ass. I'm sorry that you don't want to bathe, that's not my fucking fault.

I prefer to shave. I'm very particular and to me, hair can contribute to body odor, especially on the armpits. Whether that's societal or what, I imagine it is. I know hair is natural but I prefer to shave it off because it makes me feel cleaner.

Do you have some sort of phobia?
The health effects of having hair are completely negligible.

And you realize that your top layer of skin is a bunch of dead cells too, right?

I trim because of my experiences with shaving but I also feel cleaner after trimming my body hair.

It also lets me sport really nice and fit shirts without all the hair sticking out of it.

I'm not generally "hairy". So I don't worry about shaving.

Anyway, I quite enjoy having beards, especially during hunting season. It's the only time of the year I'm allowed to grow out my beard.
