The problem is not that she had sex, but that she had it with games journalists and developers as to acquire positive press and other favors.

Well, given the reviews on the actual site, there's no way she slept with each and every positive review. Not to mention, Boggs and Grayson are nowhere to be found on the list of positive reviews.

Boggs is not a journalist, but a game developer who became Zoe's boss. She wasn't hired until after the cheating incident. Grayson may have not reviewed Zoe's content, but the entire gaming journalism industry save for small independents and Escapist are based in the San Francisco area. He could have certainly given orders to the other reviewers to treat Zoe's game with kid gloves given the nature of that industry.

Trust in gaming journalism has already been decaying pretty quickly. This is just the cherry on top.
