The House of Sindri is in the underworld, though, isn't it? Somewhere in your dark mountains around the roots of Yggdrasil. Also, my understanding of your underworld has always been that it's not necessarily an evil place full of suffering and horror but more of a sort of creepy, mysterious, dangerous and witchy sort of region that has specific locations and items that are sacred in their own right.

I might be misinterpreting what I've read on it, though. I just always understood the Norse concept of the underworld to a unique one.

I am afraid that I do not know anywhere near as much as I ought to about Sheol, but I do find the eldest of Cronus to be a fascinating figure. Cthonic deities have always been interesting to me, though.

That makes like no sense. Why keep sending machines back to try and kill John and Sarah Connor if it wants to destroy itself, given the fact that the terminators in T1 and T2 were sent back at the same time, right before the resistance blows the place up.

The machines are meant to illicit responses, and develop the paths of people it deems important. As noted Skynet has no central core it would require a much more massive effort to completely destroy it. Possibly why it keeps delaying judgment day to ensure more of humanity survives the event.

But it has a core. I don't buy the T3 explanation., its in every computer and on the internt is crap, because a global nuclear war is going tot take out most of the world's computer networks, meaning that none of the pieces of itself skynet scatters could communicate. But enough thread jacking, this is why I hate James Cameron but love his work. The guy's a total retard, but still manages to make amazing movies.

Depends on if there is an afterlife and if there is what it is like. Personally I would prefer an afterlife where I still have a collection of my memories from life and could form new memories from those memories. But thats highly unlikely.

Why would you think that? I mean sure, in most situations, but in most situations, the person doesn't have to face eternity as the alternative. I mean, if I were to be preserved like we're talking about, and, say, a nuclear war broke out and killed everyone, but I am somehow safe (say I'm in some underground bunker, who cares); I don't think I'd be able to scrounge enough material to keep myself occupied until either the sun destroys me, I find a way to leave, or aliens or some shit show up.

Worshipping God can be done a number of ways. Honestly, you can worship God simply by doing something for Him. I believe we will be able to make advancements in technology and science in heaven (if you end up there; if you do not declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will go to the other place). I think heaven for me will be an extremely fun place, especially since God rejoices in good work done for him.
