Communis opinio, rather:

The Taliban sits within the Al-Qaïda sphere of influence, whence ISIS has broken out. There are now two nuclei of religious extremist violence: one around the Hindukush / tribal area of Pakistan, and one (self-)centred in Ar-Raqqa.

Al-Qaïda: "This Middle-East isn't big enough for the both of us."
ISIS: "There can only be one true khalifa."

Iran: "Don't you two dare to battle with one another. (Especially since we'd be the battle field.)"

Where are times when Bulgaria and Greece could march on Constantinople... :p

Oh, right. When Bulgarians allied Ottomans.

Yeah because only religious "nuts" live in these countries. What a way to devalue human life indeed. Peace is not sought from genocide.

Now you're taking the words of Klishi islands as absolute truth and allowing him to define my reasons. While I do think many Arabs are savage, so should we be. Civilisation shouldn't come in conflict with the joy of fighting and I consider it a weakness among Westerners that everything always has to be nice to excess.

If you can't take these words from me you should go and watch some Fight Club. That'd be savage, wouldn't it? Now, would I be against fight clubs? I sure wouldn't. Project Mayhem is debatable of course, but I still wouldn't expect some kind of Arab muslim organisation to intervene.

Oh god, don't take my word as absolute truth. I'm far too sarcastic for that to ever end well. :p

Anyway, just so I can get a clarification of your views, you are saying:
1) Arabs or many Arabs are savage.
2) Therefore, we should be savage as well.
3) Fighting/war is a joyful action.
4) When the West conducts itself ethically and morally on the field of battle, that is a weakness.

Issue with any of these four?

However, only nuts should be blamed for possible 'collateral damage'.

In long term view, even Syrian Civil War can help this country to be more stable in the future (when Assad will finally purge terrorists from both ISIL and FSA), because radical elements will...dissapear. In one way or another.

Source?

A source has been linked multiple times. A bunch of Afghani Warlords declared loyalty to ISIS. The Taliban, seeing the threat for what it is, attacked them almost immediately. So far, there are 49 dead Jihadists caused by this war, and exactly zero Westerners who give a damn. Here's the wikipedia article on the current war in Afghanistan, with ISIS as one of the combatants: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_Afg ... %93present)

I'm betting the Afghani President is having a good, long laugh right now.

They haven't declared jihad on each other but they are at war with each other, the Taliban didn't exactly like Daesh trying to expand into Afghanistan.

To be entirely fair, they didn't expand into Afghanistan. A bunch of Afghanis simply declared themselves a Wilayat of ISIS and then the Taliban attacked them. Presumably, Baghdadi just gave a disinterested sigh before recognizing them half-heartedly.

By the way, the last major member of Saddam Hussein's Ba'athist Government died four days ago. The death remains unconfirmed, but considering his lack of activity after the death date released, I have my hopes up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izzat_Ibrahim_al-Douri

Arabic acronym for ISIS. A rather... insulting term. Which is good, because nobody gives a fuck about insulting ISIS.
