The government just keeps thing quiet because 1) our military practically doesn't exist so there's nobody to handle the problem if something happens and 2) the cells are still sleeping and keep things at recruitment level or traffic Western Europeans into the Middle East. Civilisation shouldn't come in conflict with the joy of fighting and I consider it a weakness among Westerners that everything always has to be nice to excess.

Yeah because only religious "nuts" live in these countries. What a way to devalue human life indeed. Peace is not sought from genocide.

However, only nuts should be blamed for possible 'collateral damage'.

In long term view, even Syrian Civil War can help this country to be more stable in the future (when Assad will finally purge terrorists from both ISIL and FSA), because radical elements will...dissapear. In one way or another.

A source has been linked multiple times. A bunch of Afghani Warlords declared loyalty to ISIS. The Taliban, seeing the threat for what it is, attacked them almost immediately. So far, there are 49 dead Jihadists caused by this war, and exactly zero Westerners who give a damn.
