So ice-cream shops and Starbucks should be banned. I'm sure you've protested liquor stores, haven't you? Otherwise someone may consider that hypocritical.
there's nothing wrong with Starbucks or ice cream.
I go to Stabucks all the time, its one of my favorite coffee places. What's your point?
You can't compare caffeine to really addictive and harmful drugs like marijuana.

At any rate, caffeine isn't comparable. It's not recreational-drug dangerous.

its not the same as recreational drug addiction (ex marijuana, heroin, coke).
Caffeine is just a food you really like, like soda or chips. Its not messing with you and its not destroying you.

Opiates are highly addictive and the body rapidly builds a tolerance towards them, which limits their effective use to those patients that are in large amounts of pain. Marijuana, on the other hand, is much less addictive and, while a tolerance is still built over time, is less likely to result in lethal side effects and drug interactions. Cigarettes cause cancer, Marijuana doesn't inherently do so.

I'm an oxygen addict. I've got to take a breath of the stuff every few seconds, it seems. You can find it at oxygen bars (in violation of FDA regulatoions, I might add), among other places. Still, misuse of the drug oxygen can lead to retinal detachment, and seizures. We should start a discussion about making that illegal as well.

But it can still cause cancer is what your saying.
