Thats so untrue. If political correctness was common sense it would just be called common sense. Political correctness is a quasi set of guidelines that says their is a "correct" and "incorrect" way of saying something.

So where are the guidelines? Where's the how-to handbook on political correctness which we all got given in grade school?
Yes.

If they aren't legal than you can't say that a state has freedom of speech.

Comedy isn't magically excepted from possibly being offensive and political correctness isn't about making terms illegal.

Its not about making them illegal, but its still bullshit.

Because political correctness, by frowning on being offensive, is dictating to GK what he can and cannot do and he finds that offensive. You are not the boss of him.

So that would be "Not at all"?
It divides whole communities of people into different subgroups based on race, religion, creed, gender, sexual preference, financial standing, and favorite chewing gum.

No it doesn't.

Those who disagree with the arguments presented under its context are demonized as racists, misogynists, atheists or pagans, or greedy.

No, those who are racists, misogynists, atheists or pagans, or greedy are described as racists, misogynists, atheists or pagans, or greedy, respectively. Don't know why "atheists or pagans" is in there, though...

We may label it as political correctness, but it is actually cultural marxism.

No it's not.

Well obviously no such thing exists - neither did I suggest it did. However considering we all know which terms are PC and which terms aren't suggests that actually some sort of handbook exists in our collective contagiousness. This rule book also isn't as simple as "don't be rude" THAT would be common sense. It's mantra is a long the lines of "ensure that you couldn't possibly offend anyone" and those things are actually quite different. Instead of having people talk freely it creates a situation where people are forever treading on egg shells lest they do something that may offend someone somewhere which it inevitably will.

Your employer can fire you for...well, basically anything not illegal or discriminatory. Hell, if you're late with the donuts, they can fire you. Unless, you belong to a union or something.
