The 2008 election were my first steps into politics, at first I was like go McCain! And was like that for awhile since I come from a very republican household (I'm actually the first democrat in the family in like 30 years) and then I started to read on different ideologies in which I currently hold my political views around.

Well, since I was like 12 I had just been a normal Democrat like the rest of my family, and didn't really care much for politics. When I was about 15 or 16 I got really interested, and started to form concrete opinions, etc. When I took my first economics class I got really interested in politics, and had many more opinion on how the country should be won. I'm 17 now, so it's really been over the past year or two that I became very interested (although I had always been politically conscious).

I've become political probably since 2006, when I got really interested in history. Though it was a minor thing. Then it increased by Obama's election in 2008. It continued in 2010 it continued, then 2012 it really really increased and here I am in December 2012.

2010 because of my 5th grade math/science teacher Mr. Skinner, who honestly taught us a lot more about history and politics than math and science.

This should be played on every news channel at the start of coverage of the congressional, gubernatorial and presidential elections.

Oh, but here comes Obama with his platform of "hope" and "change"! Let's see if that will be a hail mary straight to a Democratic victory!

To me, politics is the football game. It is something that I get excited about, research the players (candidates) for, encourage other people to participate/watch, etc.

It's more fun (in my opinion) than watching football. But again, to each his own. We all have our own beliefs and opinions.

No way, the Supreme Court has shut him down! Oh man, the Court has been killing the administration for this past term.

The Supreme Court?

Speaking in an objective sense, it has been the House of Representatives that has obstructed the President's agenda. Whether or not that is a good thing depends on your political affiliation.

That's going to be one hell of a setback for him, let's see how he copes with it. McCain is holding strong in the south and west, leading in most of the Dixie states! This is going to get spicy!

Yeah, but you got to admit, the Court has been making many conservative moves that have been going against the administration. I don't think the Democrats will win this year but we have to keep watching and stay tune to the news to see who will be number one!

Age 9 or so I identified as an individualist. But I was more into philosophy rather than political philosophy.

Around 12, I rejected conservatism. 13 I was a libertarian, quickly an anarchist.

And here I am, a few years later, I am a Voluntaryist, Individualistic....kinda...not like I used to be, Nihilist and an anarchist.
