Could you gift me flying lessons?Hladgos wrote:I'm terrified of heights, but I'd skydive in a jiffy if I had a chance. I love crazy prolonged rushes of intensity like that. Not only am I terrified of heights, but I also have heart issues now. I might skydive if I wanted to die.

I don't need the lessons as much as I need the qualifications if I want to fly anything
Although I am having issues with this FS A319...
It's having trouble cruising at a decent speed at altitude. N1 is only 85 percent but throttle is full. Something be wrong.

Hmm. F22 has two afterburning engines at 35000lbs thrust each. My favourite aircraft has 2 engines rated at 115000lbs thrust. Granted much larger aircraftHladgos wrote:Sounds like a problem with the plane and not your qualifications Aure.Auremena wrote:Could you gift me flying lessons?

If I could fly anything, it'd have to be an F-22. That kind of power just is insane

Wait, you're saying guys out there find my aviation facts attractive?Great Confederacy Of Commonwealth States wrote:I know guys who would kill me to go on a date with that kind of aircraft professionalism. Cabin crew tend not to know shit about their aircraft besides the general seating layouts and emergency features.

Still, I'd sign up to work as one because it's probably not as shit a job as I have now, if only I was 21. Shit laws in the US say you have to be 21 to consume or serve alcohol. Even on a regional flight where there often aren't even drinks aboard you still have to be 21.
But only 18 for a pilot.

Well, that's the retardation of US federal law for you. In liberal hippy free land, it's 18 to do both (or maybe 16 for pilots. I dunno).

I'm up for the challenge. Please say one of those you know is hot, and you can hook me up with him.Great Confederacy Of Commonwealth States wrote:Guys who are into aviation will blow their shit when you say a line like 'full throttle, but n1 at 85%'. Seeing the normal demographic of people who say things like that, it is quite the unexpected turn. A three-hour conversation would follow. Also, 21 is a shit age to become legally adult. Other countries have proven that age could be much lower. Also, the whole idea that you become an adult overnight is outrageously false.
Pretty cool. I'd assume a lot of short range flights or trans-Tasman for them, so probably either the A320 or 737-300, would I be right?Costa Fierro wrote:I know.
