The whole problem with abstinence is that it is utterly unnatural.

And condoms, birth control, and so on are so very natural themselves. The whole "is it unnatural?" argument is a worthless point anyhow. Some people can go the abstinence route, some can't. The main problem with teaching abstinence-only is that it leaves gaps for various falsehoods and misunderstandings. Stuff like virginity pledges especially so, because randy teens who haven't been taught the real risks sidestep those pledges by any number of unsafe practices. "It's not breaking the pledge if you only do anal or oral!" or "You're safe as long as the dude pulls out before he blows his load!" Because they don't have the comprehensive facts about how STIs spread or that "BTW, pulling out to prevent pregancy is a MYTH!" they don't take the appropriate precautions, and instead wrongfully assume that things that evade their pledge are safe.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

You make a good point, just allow me to correct one little thing: some people can go the abstinence route, most can't.

And because some people can, it's best to mention it in school. You'll reach out to those who can potentially stay abstinent. Teach abstinence along with safe sex, and you're keeping as many students sexually safe as possible.

Well, sure - if you want to be boring and pedestrian about it. Here I am sharing a brief bit of knowledge with a bunch of virgins and you gotta go and put it in perspective.
You people are no fun.

Of course it isn't. The good part about this is that not every female is considered a slut by their friends. So yeah, as long as women remain human, they obtain the benefits of every human
Mavorpen wrote:Upper America wrote:If I read it wrong, then please tell me how asking him to predict what you'll eat in 20 days is relevant? I'm not stupid, I can detect sarcasm when I see it.
It's relevant because he can't predict anything with 100% accuracy.
I mean, EVERY person here got that, except for you.
Galloism wrote:Upper America wrote:You'd have to be banging pretty hard for that to happen. Besides, erotic asphyxiation is rare, right?
Not sure. I've known a number of women who were into it, just with the "use your hand" part.
I'm terribly wary of using things like a belt, rope, etc, because it can harder to tell if your "release" is actually releasing the airway. The hand is more... responsive.
