Animals are going to die, no matter what. Our food production will always require land and always produce casualties.

No because I think so long as animal farming is done to a certain standard it isn't cruel. If you don't have a problem with eating meat now - knowing that you can live a healthy life without it and then change because in vitro meat is available then your a bit silly.

Against? Probably not, seeing as I have no issue with the practice. I certainly might be in support of in vitro meat, being a cheap source of protein and all, though I'd imagine it being somewhat like spam...

Yes but killing other species for food is natural. Every carnivore/omnivore you can think of does it. Also, killing a pig is not the same as killing a human, because they are different animals :lol:

Why though? I mean if you could using genetic engineering grow a cow that was completely brain dead (Basically heart lungs and a mouth) surely it would taste the same?
