Well, even a loss at the hands of Ecuador would probably send them forward to the next round. Maybe just for the humiliation then?

As I haven't given my view on the Suarez incident yet, here it is: He is a dirty player who has now bitten opponents on three occasions, he should be banned for life. There is no place for that kind of nonsense on a football field. He's had his chances and the other incidents (the racism and the constant acts of simulation in particular) haven't done much to make me like him either.

I would also love to see Greece beat Costa Rica, even though after that they will probably fall into the Netherlands or such. Not so hopeful for Greece's national team. But you never know....(see Euro 2004)
I think we can all agree on this about Suarez, love him or hate him: Great footballer, also great mental issues.

I'm not English, and I am a Liverpool supporter, so for half the year I have to at least cheer for the ass, and I am one of the sheeple who think he should get a pretty hefty punishment for biting someone on the shoulder like a toddler.

No, what's pathetic is Uruguay and Liverpool fans standing behind one of the dirtiest players in any sport no matter what low he sinks to.
"Suarez bit a guy"
"So what? It wasn't dangerous!"
"Suarez kicked a downed player in the face repeatedly!"
"They're showing it from a bad angle on purpose!"
"Suarez sucker punched the goalie, peed on his face, and then kicked his puppy for good measure!"
"Yeah but carding the guy? Talk about overreaction!"

Biting someone is violent conduct. Therefore, it's a violation of the Laws.
