God's Not Dead

Has anyone seen the film God's Not Dead? It has Kevin Sorbo in it and centers on a debate between an atheist professor at a university and a devout christian who is persecuted by that professor. The student is forced to prove that god isn't dead by the end of the semeser or else he'll be flunked by the professor.

Anyway, this film (which I am going to see as soon as possible) makes me wonder what arguments the people of this site have on whether god is dead or not. Personally, I think god is alive in both the literal sense (he is the creator of this world and watches over all of us) and in another sense, that god exist as the foundation of our laws and moral conscience.

So anyway, what do you guys think? Is god dead or not?

I don't know, they say he probably can't survive in this climate or something but then people find pictures or video footage of him popping up all around north america every few years so if he is alive he is definitely a traveller.

As an entity, what had never existed as an entity cannot be dead. As a societal concept, God has thankfully had a diminishing presence in the world though unfortunately is not quite dead yet.
