And to think I'd returned with every intention of responding properly to you.

What I find with you is that you tend to argue while drinking or just plain drunk.

Really, when you have a cohesive argument while not drunk then maybe I will keep paying attention to you, as it stands all you have said either is bullshit or something I would expect to hear from my drunk father.

Prohibition could've been enforced in America if they were tougher on crime. It's a shame that alcohol cuts things short, lives, relationships, yet form a time of no reply where both respondents were wary but interested in one another.

Not really. When you make prohibitionist policies all you do is create unregulated black markets for said things you are trying to prohibit.

It will kill your relationships before it does you. Some have high tolerance and eventually have to drink criminal amounts to get the same high. It's best we get rid of it all together.

If you make something a crime, you have to actually convince people that it should be illegal.

People being tossed in prison for drinking and smoking isn't reason enough? Only a few people protest, these are usually the far-out hippie dippie kind of people who nobody takes seriously.

Gotta love that pedantery.

You know who would also protest? The manufacturers of alcoholic drinks, their millions of employees, their casual consumers and anybody who believes that the solution to drugs is not punishing its consumers, but rather educating them to be responsible consumers.

I don't think anyone has ever been locked up for smoking. Except maybe in the middle east where everything that is fun is illegal.

Carpet bomb every city where there's organized crimes. That should do the trick.

We're not punishing anyone by asking liquor and cigarette manufacturers to clean up their act by producing more important things. We wouldn't be losing employees if we shifted national production towards a collective effort, like what happened during the second world war. The economy was booming!

Lethal force would have to be the next option, also media coverage on the subject is not allowed to be pro-protester.
