I'm learning to play golf for a personal project. There's a girl I like in my grade (who is on the golf team) and recently she offered to go golfing with me. Still debating as to whether this is a date or not, whether she likes me, etc. She doesn't know I like her (at least I haven't told her). I haven't told anyone else except two very close friends. I don't know... I feel like she's been flirting with me this whole school year. It's hard to tell.

Meh. Free tickets and a fairly short flight. No big deal.

My dating history isn't too colorful. Only one serious relationship thus far, that ended too quickly, although in hindsight it was an unhealthy thing for me, and I wouldn't want to try anything like it again.

Currently I'm getting more open about things. I've got half of something lined up with this Czech girl I've known for a while. Sunrise over Battery Park, the first chance we get to meet up again. Should be fun.

EDIT: Actually, I've got a question for people who date people of different nationalities. Is it appropriate to learn their language early on? I've known this girl for a good number of years, but I figured I might learn a bit of Czech before I meet up with her again. It wouldn't be insulting or anything, would it?

I don't think I can blame you as I was prone to do the same when I was younger.

Nowadays I just think every new woman has their own unique charm, and what I'm looking for is not someone better than my ex, but someone who can fulfill my needs.

I've found such women but they are all taken or just see me as a friend.
