Just look at faces of young men spraying (and kicking shit out of) people with reckless abandon! Think it's just some "Kremlinite propaganda"? Then what about an article on the 110% kosher Ukrainian news-site?

Lviv's traditional Wet Monday ended in scandal. Self-defense patrols armed with electro shockers arrested hooligans who doused passerby from plastic bottles and buckets full of water.

About a hundred teenagers in balaclava masks doused people, despite the fact that this year's wet fun on the streets had been banned (in years past Lvov were outrages that that ancient tradition had become a form of hooliganism) .

For "polivalniki" there was an isolated area near the Town Hall, where they frolicked at first spraying each other with water. For all willing there were free shower caps and raincoats. They used water only from fountains.

Part of young people decided that was not enough, and they moved to other streets where everyone had a shower in a row, including the elderly. Self-defense of Maidan detained hooligans.

Next. Nationally Conscious (pardon me, "свiдомыи" ) Lviv's activists (with or without some hints from the Right Sector - don't know), decided that organizing a celebratory march commemorating SS division "Galicia" is, well, not quite advisable - OSCE visitors from the West may (just, may) interpret it as something not very nice. So they've found a better solution!

At Mars Field... on May 9 there will be a prayer service on the Hill of Glory with the flags of all the countries that fought in the war against Nazism, such as Poland, Belarus, Georgia, the United States, Britain and other allied countries, adorned with black ribbons, next to burning candles. However, there should be no flag of Russia.

Legacy weapon exactly as much as a B-52.
That is, perfectly working in the right conditions. A single strategic bomber isn't a threat to any country with a couple of SAM batteries or a couple of fighters. A flight of strategic bombers armed with cruise missiles and protected by fighters, that's another story.

Okay, so what? It's not going to intervene in the Ukrainian crises, which would be sheer stupidity on it's part, so it's not much of a message. It properly serves more for self reassuring of it's members than sending any kind of message to Russia.

There are only going to be around 600 US troops in Poland for these upcoming exercises. Any real change in policy (like a reorientation of the overall deployment of US troops overseas) will be in the long term.

The US will have to rethink it's "pivot to Asia" strategy, and European NATO states will have to boost overall defense spending.

One guy dying is not a crackdown, and it clearly said that the Right Sector blocked off a govt building unopposed after that. Still, no attempts at punishing those responsible for violence against civilians, including the First Secretary of the Lvov Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

That's a shame, at least the Asian allies have been more cooperative to US defence plans then their European counterparts.

If the USA reversed it's "pivot to Asia" strategy, it would properly end up having reverse it back to China. There's a larger chance of USA allies by treaty getting into a war with China than say a NATO country like Estonia country getting into a war with Russia. Not to mention China will be the bigger rival to the USA and naturally that will be the one where it will need to devote the most amount of resources to try and remain top dog...unless things change considerably.

China has territorial disputes and tensions with many countries, many with defense ties to the USA. It's possible that one day these disputes/tensions could end up sparking into a hot conflict one way or anther. I'm not saying China will go out of it's way to go to war with the USA, but it could end up being dragged into one. That likelihood only increases as China's power both economic and military power increases. One day it may choose or be forced to use force against on of those nations and it may bet the USA will not directly go to war with it regardless if it has a treaty with the nation that finds itself in conflict with. That bet being made is also more likely if anything after China has observed the Ukrainian mess that has gone on and how the treaty of protecting Ukraine sovereignty was thrown out completely by everyone.
