Do gays get "easy" sex easier...than straights? If so...nice

Postby Especially Dirty Hippies » Mon Nov 25, 2013 1:15 pm

Okay, "Easy sex" does not mean that the other person does all the work. That is not easy and requires a lot of discipline and restraint(s). It means, like "cheap" sex, like meat somebody, like eachother, flirt, flirt back, worry it's not gonna work out, but then it's on, then a hotel room, then a little awkward, then neither of you leave a lousy dollar tip for the Guatemalan drifter who has to clean up what the hell you just did on that sink counter by the now unsanitary coffee machine.

One time I was going to go read Kinsey to learn about sexual behavior in humans, but by the time I knew what that was, somebody told me it's all out of date. I don't read very much. But I'd like to learn about sexual behavior in humans, so I'm going to do the same thing that the UK aerospace defense industry does when it needs to know the math behind how many pages it takes a thread about whether Smaug could beat a T.I.E. Fighter in atmosphere turns into a thread about whether Obama has ever personally performed an illegal abortion and what that means philosophically: I'm going to ask NSG and discuss it:
Preface spoiler.

Do gays get easier "cheap" sex on average? A significant percentage of gay guys I know have talked to me about this, and unless all of them are fucking with me, a gay male in a reasonably populated region of a Westernized country can, within reasonable limits of physics, can get laid whenever they fuck they want. They are all in almost verbatim consensus, and can recount with either veracity or great dramatic Gonzo-sex story flair every really sordid "met this guy at a rave and then a bunch of almost ceaseless sex happened" story to back up their claims that they can bone at will.

But I have to ask...are these guys just playing with the breeder here? Am I done?

Because it seems to me that every gay male I've talked to about this chimes in without prompt or prejudicious: yes, if you want to get laid you can.

Now, someone once told me the same is true for straight people, but my logic here is that I know of at least one male who cannot get sex no matter how conscientiously he tries, there fore it is FALSE to assert "Any straight male can get sex whenever they want." It's just not true.

Everybody is different. Gays are people. Gays are different.

But shifting into a probability - based statistical claim: can the average gay guy get laid on short notice substantially more easy than a straight guy in equally vacuous-unhealthy-sex-partner-per-square-mile conditions?
In sixteenth-century Europe, the disease of virgins, or green sickness, was seen as a common disorder affecting young unmarried girls. Its symptoms included weakness, dietary disturbance, lack of menstruation and most significantly, a change in skin colour. Understanding of the condition turned puberty and virginity into medical problems, and proposed to cure them by bloodletting, diet, exercise, and marriage. - The Disease of Virgins, a book I saw a promo for while trying to learn how babies are made.

No, it's generally harder because if you try to hit up with a person you just met, you've only got a 10% chance of it even being possible rather than a 90%.

Unless there's a particularly active "Gay scene" where you are...

I think this is a classic case of causation correlation does not imply causation.

Perhaps people who are homosexual are less likely to be sexually repressed. Having to face such difficult realisations about oneself may lead to more liberal attitudes towards sex and relationships.

It's all guesswork and conjecture though.

Provided they have an area where gays tend to congregate, yes. Because the major risk of sex pregnancy is not applicable to them.

However I have read that lesbians have the most difficulty getting into sexual relationships, however this was in maxim so take with a grain of salt when they discuss lesbians.

Sounds very reasonable, though.

On Maxim, I think you're caveat is caveegreat.

I'm just realizing what a dick I am as a human being for never having really thought of pregnancy as the major risk, not because I love children, but I'd rather have a bastard child than AIDS.

I only have my own anecdotal observations and thoughts on progressive attitudes to go on. It sounds pretty logical to me. I guess you've also got to take into consideration that it's much easier to be openly heterosexual than it is openly homosexual, so if you're forced to act a certain way because you feel you have to, then it shouldn't be a surprise that equal-minded individuals go to places where they can indulge in behaviours they feel often get repressed in everyday life. I don't think it's directly related to homosexuality, but rather societal influences upon homosexuality, and a willingness to accept and embrace ones own identity.

So, it's a matter of what the RAF Eton-bred boys call a "target rich environment"?

Why does this not happen with straights?

There is nowhere that I could go where I could just expect to meet a woman and get laid without spending a lot of money, possibly over a long period of increasingly pathetic time.

That seems like an odd standard to measure it by. I don't know any Spaniards but I'm pretty sure there are people who know a bunch of them. Spaniards, for one...

So I need to find some weird subversive counter-cultural "Nicholas Cage in 8mm was trying to do this but never really got there" kind of dark edgy kink vibe?

Huh, I'm trying to think a pathway through this, and I think I figured it out.

It would be incorrect to say that the gay community is by any means more promiscuous, except in nominative terms. What I think this ends up coming down to is that men are generally more sexually driven than women (due to societal pressures more likely than biology), thus, gay men have tons of sex because the man in them wants sex, and other gay men also just want sex, therefore boning ensues. The only way to confirm this would be to see if lesbians have sex less than "breeder" couples, as it would create a standard by which men have sex more than women in purely homosexual relations.

So then, the question becomes not if gay guys get going generally, but if lusty lesbian ladies lay less

So much wrong with this:

Ok,

1) RAF is not the old Etonians club.
2)It does. Just not all of them. Ditto us boa-wearing, conga dancing gays
3)You need to find the nightclub of last resort.

You must have some real high end shit going for you. What do half a dozen girls respond to?
