Question 1: Yes, it has.

Question 2: It's the discussions I've seen, and been a part of.

Question 3: I'm more conservative than when I joined.

The arguments I've been a part of, especially the ones where I found myself unable to defend myself, over the course of time I've become more conservative than when I joined.

History books & comrades are not "bourgeois media". (Additionally, my Father actually lived in the Soviet Union for several decades.)

You have been seduced by the Stalinist propaganda.

History books....silly liberal.

Some of them do have a liberal bias, some have a conservative bias.

Some of them do have a liberal bias, some have a conservative bias.

And some of them are neither conservative nor liberal, but biased in other ways.

By the way, You realise that the application of socialism automatically achieves the goals of distributism?

Idealism is a liberal trait?

Does that mean conservatism, socialism and fascism are "cynical" ideologies?

I think I've moved a little to the right, or maybe I've realised that there are people way more to the left than me. I've definitely become a little bit more liberal on various social issues though. Overall, however, not much change.

I've also become far more aware of political issues (especially abortion) and thus able to make better informed judgements on stuff.
I go under the name Vyvland now (IIWiki page). This account is used for the odd foray into the Senate or NSG.
