I went from being a vaguely socialist social democrat to a mutualist anarchist and later a post-civ anarchist (tl;dr a radical environmentalist philosophy fusing both "civilized" and "primitive" elements). This wasn't all just from NSG though.

Yup. I used to be a solid liberal, then I saw how stupid hard leftism is and I switched to a left-leaning libertarian.

American liberals are really far from being "hard leftists".

Personally, I turned from socialism to libertarianism and I am more for capitalism . Yet, I will continue to honor some left-wing traditions like the Red Army and Comrafe Stalin.

A bit. I was influenced by my Socialist friend.
3, what were the changes?
Up until I joined NS, I was completely conservative. I thought Bush was okay and that Stephen Harper is the best prime minister evar (I'm Canadian)! Looking back on that, I can't believe how stupid I was. After doing a bit of research and actually investing time in politics, I learned that Bush was stupid, Harper sucks and Trotsky was the world's biggest hope for the future. I thought Stalin was great because he won WWII, but now I actually know who he is and what he's done. I've changed from Far-Right to Left over the course of a year. Probably because I knew pretty much nothing about politics back then and never even cared. TRUDEAU 2015, SOCIALISM FOR THE FUTURE!
