Should Northern Ireland unify with the Republic?

well what have they ever done for us apart from make guiness.

I mean every time you see ireland on the TV in the UK is when there is a riot or a orange march parade riot going on. And there also quite rasict. When i was in Y7 there was a irish kid in our class and he told some other kid that catholicism was better than protestantism, and that kid turned out to be a protestant.

In my opinion I think Ireland should be unified. The northern counties were settled by Englishmen in the 1600s and dominate the Catholic minority. I have heard people say that within 50 years Ireland will be unified due to a growing feeling that this British domination has gone on long enough. I do not support the actions of the IRA, or any other paramilitary group. What do you think, NS?

Scots are Englishmen now? I must have missed that memo.

As someone who was born in NI, and whose father was an English soldier stationed there... I personally don't see any good reason why it should, but perhaps I'm biased because of my background.

Honestly I don't really care either way, as I have no intention of ever going back there and if the majority of people decide they want to join the republic, that's cool too.
