Yes our test performance is not that great but who won the last world cup, I think it us so that makes us the best team for 4 years until we win the 2015 world cup again

Who won the last World Cup at home on rank flat Indian pitches? Australia are top of the ODI rankings, and the World Cup is in Aus/NZ and last time you went to NZ for ODIs India lost 4-0.

And which Sydney test? Last time India played Aus in Sydney, they lost by an innings and 68 runs. Clarke got a triple century then got Tendulkar out.

Or are your referring to the one in 2007/2008, where Harbhajan racially abused Andrew Symonds?
This is the IC re-incarnation of Cyborg Holland. Add 2971 posts and three RWC final losses.

No it proves that India won that cup and therefore is the best odi team for the next 4 years until we win it again.

No I am refering to the match, where Australia cheated to win, We shall never forget and no Bhajji did no such thing, it was a ploy by symonds and cricket Australia to discredit and further cheat, If anyone was doing wrong it is not the Indian cricket team but the Australian cricket team

and your spinner called anil kumble and MSD bastards

Harbhajan was even aquitted so that is lies, We shall never forget the Sydney Test match

Clarke predicted a double ton for Chris Rogers, before the start of play. The way it's going, it doesn't look too farfetched either - the Indians are playing atrociously.

It'll be quite the achievement if he gets there – don't think too many people have had THREE first-class double centuries in a calendar year! Rogers also scored 241* and 203* for Middlesex v Yorkshire (April) and Somerset (September) – though both were second-innings efforts; Rogers is very much a second-innings specialist.

Meanwhile the Hagley Oval in Christchurch is hosting its first Test match, with New Zealand struggling slightly against Sri Lanka but Brendon McCullum is looking in imperious form (having become the first Kiwi to make 1,000 Test runs in a calendar year).

To be fair, a double is quite the achievement regardless of anything else. To have three in a calendar year must be pretty close to unheard of? EDIT: Only 150 to go now...

Saw some pictures of the Hagley Oval on Sky Sports. Looked about as picturesque a cricket ground as it's possible to find.

Brendon McCullum's amazing knock of 195 off 134 balls, and New Zealand's 429/7, broke quite a few records.

That does not make sense...you can't conpare the 2010 India to the shitty 2014 one. Also no it does not make you the /best team/ for 4 years. The best team is the one who is No.1 on the rankings.

Not really cheating, obviously heated words were said, if you want cheating, 1932-33 Ashes series is the place to go. I'm beginning to think you're that blindly obsessed with Indian Nationalism that you are willing to ignore this:

However, a lesser charge (Level 2.8 offence) of using abusive language was applied and Harbhajan was fined 50% of his match fee. Hansen later admitted that he "could have imposed a more serious penalty if he was made aware by the ICC of the bowler's previous transgressions"—including a suspended one Test Match ban. The ICC claimed the "database and human errors ... played a part in Harbhajan Singh escaping a more severe penalty during his appeal hearing in Adelaide".

harbhajan said 'maa ki' , short version of teri maa ki / yo mama.

that he said monkey is just the version that symonds and co insist. i'll take tendulkar's word over that aussie team. their conduct in the SCG was one of the worst by any team in modern times.

reg the current test, the only question is

will it be an innings defeat for india or not

oh and ODI and tests are a world apart these days.

in ODI's you can bat somebody out or chase anything which indian batters can and have done in many conditions.

in tests you HAVE to get 20 wickets, which this crop cannot do in pace friendly overseas conditions.

I'm not entirely convinced enforcing the follow-on has worked. On the other hand, maybe Sri Lanka's batsmen just needed some sort of warm up.

Well, well... India's largest partnership away from home in more than 10 years (Jan 2004, 353 between SRT/VVS) has set up a very tasty final two days in this Test.

Time could be an issue, I think. Let's hope the Aussies can dismiss the Indian tail quickly. Of course, they'll still have to get rid if Rahana and Kohli all over again in the second innings, and the Indians won't mind a draw' so it could be really tight.

Indians can still collapse in 4th innings. That's a given more often than not. Vijay and kohli are the key. Pujara is disappointing for someone touted as successor to dravid.

well..india almost collapsed.

smith should have declared a little early...and i don't know why he did not opt for those 4 overs in the end. 24 balls is enough to get indian tail. for an aggressive batsman and a seemingly aggressive captain, that seemed tame and lame...

Kumar Sangakkara's 11th Test match 200 (one short of Bradman's record 12) has given SL a commanding first-innings lead against NZ despite having been 98/5 at one stage.
