Not if they denied me credit, but using a sample of something I did in a new way and acknowledging I made it is fine.

By the standards of the NSG Right you're actually pretty moderate.

Also you can't claim your opposition to homosexuality to be on religious grounds and then turn around and summarize lesbians as being hot.

Your beliefs on:
Abortion. I agree with Clinton, it can be a tragic necessity. It is not acceptable as an everyday birth control option.:
Affirmative Action. Some parts of our society start out with deficits the rest of us do not have to bear. These are historically based. Steps such as this need to be taken in order to level the playing field and make up for lost ground.. :
Authoritarianism. Gaddafi was better than the current Libyan regime; Saddam was better that what passes for order in modern Iraq. But generally it is a bad idea if it can be avoided. An unpleasing option.:
Conscription. The draft promotes peace, by making sure that middle class white boys are placed at risk whenever we go to war. The public doesn’t mind so much if citizens are being killed that they don’t know. :
Copyright law. Let it benefit the creators and not the corporate owners.:
Corporate personhood. An abomination. Let corporations buy and sell, borrow and lend, hire and fire, AND THAT’s ALL.:
Death penalty. Is expensive, not a deterrent, and degrades the national character.:
Democracy. An ideal most often honored in the breach. Not in evidence in any modern nation states.:
Drug legalization. A great way to reduce organized crime, reduce jail overcrowding, and reduce the bloated enforcement ranks.:
Economic ideology. Small is beautiful? Localist, somewhat anarcho syndicalist.:
Evolution/Creationism. I believe there can be some common meeting ground for faith and reason. People thought the fossil record would destroy Christianity 150 years ago, but that didn’t happen. Reductionist rationalist materialism can seem dry and unrewarding to some of us who still acknowledge the achievements and insights of science.:
Feminism. Every movement has its unappealing radical fringe; I do not agree that all babies are parasites which should be exterminated, yet I have read such sentiments. Nevertheless, there is a great deal of wisdom here. I appreciate all feminist theologians, especially Mary Daly and Carter Heyward.:
Free speech. Former ACLU regional board member here. The answer to hateful speech is true and healing speech.:
Gay marriage. In an age when adultery and divorce by heterosexuals are so common, it is refreshing to find such a group of people who are interested in faithfulness.:
Global warming. Let’s call in climate change; we may get some sever winters as part of this “warming”. But the change is real and the human contributing factor is real.:
Gun control. Let’s do background checks for criminal behavior and insanity. Let’s share data between federal and state offices in charge of these matters. Let’s not however have the police and politicians be the only ones with weapons.:
Immigration (legal). US is a nation of immigrants, even the Native Americans. What’s the big deal? We all belong.:
Immigration (illegal)Dream Act is great. The Senate bill is okay. Make the illegals legal, or give them a chance to become so, and there is no more “illegals” problem. And punish the employers who encourage the contractor hiring of illegals.:
Imperialism/Militarism. Militarism is one of the great evils of modern times. We don’t need this huge capacity, or this bellicose attitude.:
Internet censorship. Bad idea. Don’t tell me what to think.:
Israel/Palestine. Two state is the only solution. Also, make Israel repay all the US loans which have been “excused” over the decades. It would boost our budget!:
LGBTQ equal rights. Sure, this ought to be a status which receives the same protections as race or religion.:
Police. Need more citizen control. Constant video monitoring is great. Jello Biafra ran on a platform of requiring cops on the beat to be elected by the citizens; he got a lot of votes!
Pornography. No live kiddies, please. No snuff films. No involuntary servitude. As long as free consenting adults are involved (or cartoons! I don’t understand how people get irate about cartoons) then it’s fine, free expression.:
Prostitution. Not as wonderful as everybody thinks. There are more people caught up in white slavery right now in the US than there were in black slavery in 1860. Not every hooker is a free agent; maybe not most.:
Racism. No we have not outgrown it. No, “rights talk” is not a bad thing; it is necessary.:
Redistribution of wealth. We are burdened with an excessive and increasing concentration of wealth in the hands of the few. Many have not earned it; it has been wrongfully appropriated.:
Separation of church and state. Keep the state out of the church and vice versa. Don’t tell me what to pray (or not to pray) in school or anyone else. Believe and let believe. The US was never a “Christian nation”; it has always been a refuge for freedom of conscience.:
Taxation. Taxes are necessary. Not every evil can be solved by legislation and regulation. Use some common sense. We have New York City “water quality” police issuing tickets in the Adirondacks for not wearing seat belts. New York Dept of Health has 62 full time staff devoted to scolding employers about obesity. Stop the madness.:
Unions. People will realize they were better off with them, despite the misuse of seniority and all the known problems, then they are under the tender mercies of big business.:
Universal health care. I hope Vermont succeeds. I do not understand the opposition to a single payer plan.:
Welfare. Used to help poor people live. Now it no longer exists except as a straw man.:
Worker's rights. The NLRB, reconstituted, has started to help workers once again claim such things as workers’ comp and unemployment, which for years had been ignored. Good; keep it up.:
Youth rights. Like the rest of us?:

Other questions:
What would you call your political ideology? Not likely to be represented by any existing political party. Think globally, act locally? Freedom with responsibility?
What is your religion? Mennonite Christian (neither Catholic nor Protestant)
Do you believe that morality is subjective? Certainly there will be a subjective element, but I think we have some hardwired evolutionary principles which we want to ignore but should not, such as looking after the old and weak. Especially is this truw if we see culture itself as evolutionary. Yes, others stand with me here. http://books.google.com/books?id=6-8I3z ... 22&f=false

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: I oppose it in all but the most extreme circumstances (i.e. the mother's life is endangered)
Affirmative Action: It's time to scrap it.
Authoritarianism: No.
Conscription: Again, no.
Copyright law: In general, I oppose them.
Corporate personhood: I generally support it.
Death penalty: I'm deeply opposed to it.
Democracy: From a broad standpoint, it's the best our society can do politically.
Drug legalization: No, too many adverse effects.
Economic ideology: Free market
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution (divinely inspired)
Feminism: I fully support the economic and human rights of women, sans abortion/birth control.
Free speech: In general, free speech is a positive force.
Gay marriage: I support it.
Global warming: We need to do much more to curb this drastic global climate change.
Gun control: People should be able to own most guns, but gun sales themselves should be much more heavily regulated.
Immigration (legal): We need to ease the process.
Immigration (illegal): We need to secure the border and make legal immigration more accessible.
Imperialism/Militarism: I oppose this completely.
Internet censorship: I mostly oppose this.
Israel/Palestine: Neither group is going anywhere, so let's get serious about the 2-state solution.
LGBTQ equal rights: It needs to happen.
Police: I support a large, well-funded police force.
Racism: I oppose it 100%
Redistribution of wealth: To a moderate degree, I don't mind it.
Separation of church and state: I support it, in general.
Taxation: Nobody likes 'em, but they're necessary. I support moderate-to-high taxes.
Unions: They're essential for our labour system.
Universal health care: I support a single-payer option.
Welfare: As long as it's oriented towards securing jobs for the poor, not just making them dependent.
Worker's rights: I fully support them.
Youth rights: See above

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Should be legal under all circumstances.
Affirmative Action: I don't think affirmative action as it is now is a good system, instead the government should focus on improving educational and training opportunities in traditionally disadvantaged minority groups, in order to bring them to an equal level with advantaged groups.
Authoritarianism: Terrible and not redeemable in any way.
Conscription: Should be abolished. People must have the right to choose whether or not to fight. Volunteer armies are superior in quality, anyways.
Copyright Law: I consider this a necessity so that people can protect their creative works, however I feel that as it is people can hold copyrights for far too long. There should be more stringent limits imposed on the length, especially after the creator's death.
Corporate Personhood: Very abusable, and as such should be abolished.
Death Penalty: Should be allowed, but restricted for only the most severe crimes like treason.
Democracy: The only sane way to govern a modern nation.
Drug Legalization: I believe that all drugs should be legalized, but heavily regulated and taxed much as tobacco is. Additionally, there need to be national health campaigns to discourage use as well as rehabilitation systems to get former users back into society.
Economic Ideology: I do support capitalism, as I feel that it can offer great benefits to society, however I believe in anti-monopolistic measures to ensure fair competition as well as stringent standards to protect workers and the environment. Additionally, there must be a significant government focus on research and building infrastructure in order to ensure that the economy as a whole runs smoothly and is competitive with foreign nations.
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution, but I hardly see how this has anything to do with political ideology. People can believe whatever they want.
Feminism: Has a lot of valid points. Men and women do need to be treated equally and as individuals, and neither group should receive any advantage over the other.
Free Speech: Besides speech invoking the principle of clear and present danger, I feel that there should be little to no restriction on free speech. The hallmark of a civilized society is that it protects people with views it disagrees with.
Gay Marriage: I support total marriage equality, as long as it involves consenting adults. This extends to other things like polygamy and polyandry, as long as it meets those standards.
Global Warming: Obviously a thing, and action must be taken to combat it.
Gun Control: In general, I support the right of people to bear arms, but there needs to be a national system of registration and an emphasis on denying guns to the mentally ill. Unregistered transactions should be illegal. I don't believe in restrictions on the specific types of guns, however, nor on carry, however there must be stricter standards for what constitutes acceptable use.
Immigration (Legal): Open the floodgates, and separate immigrants into two streams: skilled and unskilled. There should be very few limitations on skilled workers, and although I believe in some limitations on the unskilled workers it should be significantly less restricted than it is today.
Immigration (Illegal): Offer amnesty to those who have clean records and are willing to undertake education or national service, but deport those who fail to meet those requirements, and make the system one that does not impact the legal immigrants. Improve border security afterwards, and let them come in through the now massively expanded legal immigration system.
Imperialism/Militarism: No. There is no justifiable reason why a nation should take over another country.
Internet Censorship: Should be prohibited. Let the Internet govern itself.
Israel/Palestine: Although I think the creation of Israel was a grave mistake, it's not as if we can just undo it now. I do believe, however, that the growth of settlements must stop and measures must be taken to share land between the groups and encourage inter-cultural cooperation. Unlikely, but... anything is better than doing nothing.
LGBTQ Equal Rights: I believe in 100% equality, and... yeah.
Police: The police are a necessity, however there need to be greater restrictions on what they can and cannot do in order to ensure that peoples' rights remain adequately protected.
Pornography: I believe that there should be no legal restrictions.
Prostitution: Organized prostitution should remain illegal, but self-employed prostitutes should be allowed to operate in the open or as cooperatives (as odd as that sounds, though it is already a thing in some countries). Additionally, there must be regular screenings for STIs and mandated use of birth control in the business.
Racism: Individuals should take an active role to be aware of and reject racism. Additionally, see my affirmative action entry for how I want to prevent it the future.
Redistribution of Wealth: No, I don't think that this works as a method of creating equality and even if it did it would be very unfair and heavy-handed. I do believe in redistribution of opportunity, however. Create educational and training programs for disadvantaged lower-class groups, increase educational funding nationwide, and institute a very punitive estate tax that will drastically cut down on inheritances to prevent social stratification.
Separation of Church and State: By all means. There should be no intermixing between church and state in any way, shape, or form.
Taxation: A progressive tax is necessary, and again a punitive estate tax is important. Loopholes need to be closed, and taxes as a whole must be raised as necessary to help balance the budget and fight the national debt.
Unions: Should be generally supported as an empowering force that allows workers more leverage in ensuring their well-being.
Universal Health Care: As great as this would be as another way to help ensure equal opportunity, we really don't have the means to pay for this... not without substantial cuts in other parts of the budget. I think Defense and Social Security are good candidates for that.
Welfare: Very important for the people who actually need it, and as thus it should be supported, albeit supplemented with vocational and educational programs. People who don't go along with the additional programs should be denied access, however.
Worker's Rights: I don't think exploitation of workers should be allowed. They must be given a fair environment and the ability to speak out to address workplace issues.
Youth Rights: Speaking as a youth, I generally feel that youth rights are fine as they are. There are a few situations where they should be afforded more rights, such as after divorce, but otherwise things can stay where they are.

Rate your opinion of the following countries from 1 to 5, with 1 being strongly favorable, 3 being neutral, and 5 being strongly unfavorable:
China: 2
Cuba: 2
France: 4
Germany: 5
Iran: 1

Japan: 3
North Korea: 1
Russia: 1
South Korea: 3
Syria (Assad regime): 1
Sweden: 5
Switzerland: 4
United Kingdom: 4
United States: 3
Venezuela: 2

What would you call your political ideology? Moderate left-libertarianism with an emphasis on equal treatment under the law and equal opportunity.
What is your religion? Strongly decided agnostic. From my point of view, the only correct choice is not making one, as I consider both theism and atheism to be ultimately unprovable and therefore incorrect.
Do you believe that morality is subjective? Depends. No, seriously. I think that the violation of a person's natural rights to be completely and utterly black-and-white, but when it comes down to other things I would consider them to be relatively subjective.

Wow. This is interesting indeed. Pity the original poster is gone.

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Acceptable in cases, of rape, incest, or if the mother's life is endangered. As a birth control measure, no. I would say the second trimester would be a cutoff point for restriction to the above.
Affirmative Action: Yes, i feel that it is needed until the time comes where discriminatory practices are negligible, much like the Indian concept for scheduled castes and tribes..
Authoritarianism: I feel that authoritarianism is needed in times of crisis, or where the stability of the state is in jeopardy, but not otherwise. Then again, there are acceptations. I would prefer an authoritarian ruler such as Gaddafi to the current government, or even relatively stable governments, such as the Indian, Turkish, or South Korean governments.
Conscription: Only in times of war.
Copyright law: Nyet. Should the creator get compensation for a period of time? Absolutely. Should it benefit large private firms? Not at all!
Corporate personhood: An absurd concept that must be done away with.
Death penalty: I believe that it should be used on a highly limited scale. Essentially, "the rarest of the rare".
Democracy: I support the dictatorship of the proletariat, so yes. Pure democracy? No. I believe in the restriction of some ideologies.(Nothing big brother style, of course.)
Drug legalization: Only soft drugs such as marijuana.
Economic ideology: Communism, though through collectives as opposed to large state firms, except for select sectors such as energy, etc.
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution.
Feminism: Such strands as Socialist and Marxist Feminism. Not the crazies, like cultural eco-feminists.
Free speech: Yes, as long as it does not incite conflict or hatred.
Gay marriage: They are human too. Of course!
Global warming: Climate change is a very real, and disturbing phenomenon, which must be considered and acted upon immediately.
Gun control: Comprehensive background checks are needed.
Immigration (legal): Why not? Sure, some anti-social elements can be denied entry, but most legal immigrants are honest, hard working people, who should be welcomed.
Immigration (illegal): I feel that it must be curbed in two ways. Firstly, through allowing a greater entry of immigrants and refugees, so that they need not risk arrest and exploitation, and to reduce the need for immigration by working to develop the under-developed nations of the world.
Imperialism/Militarism: An ugly scourge, and a folly pursued by those who make their castles upon pillars of clay.
Internet censorship: Minimal. There are simply some things you shouldn't be able to share, such as child pornography.
Israel/Palestine: Two state solution. I stand with the Palestinians here.
LGBTQ equal rights: Absolutely.
Police The police, while necessary, have acquired an impunity that must be curbed. Police should be looked at with respect, not fear.
Pornography: Personally, I look at it with disdain, but if it depicts consenting adults, and no objectification of women, and I have no problem with it.
Prostitution: I feel that no individual should be forced into prostitution by others, or economic need, but if some choose to work as sex workers, their trade should be through collectives, monitored by the state for STDs, use of protection, etc.
Racism: I'm sorry, but this is where my tolerance ends. You can keep it to yourself, or face the consequences. I support systematic anti-racism measures.
Redistribution of wealth: I am all for this. Most of the world's wealth remains in the hands of a largely undeserving few, while millions languish in poverty. Egalitarianism is the only route to a more perfect society.
Separation of church and state: Keep the church out of the state. However, the state must intervene in the Church in certain cases. For example, banning the caste system, and enacting legal action against caste atrocities.
Taxation: I support heavy taxation of higher income brackets, while relieving the burden on the less fortunate.
Unions: It is through these unions that workers gained the vast majority of the rights they enjoy today. I support unions such as the Kisan Sabhas and CITU.
Universal health care: All for it. There is a reason the U.S. has such poor indicators.
Welfare: A comprehensive welfare state is needed in every nation.
Worker's rights: Workers are largely still deprived of many rights and securities which they deserve.
Youth rights: Erm, yes? I feel that the current situation is not ideal, but it isn't abysmal.

Rate your opinion of the following countries from 1 to 5, with 1 being strongly favorable, 3 being neutral, and 5 being strongly unfavorable:
China: 4
Cuba: 1
France: 3
Germany: 3
Iran: 3

North Korea: 4
Russia: 3
South Korea: 4
Syria (Assad regime): 2
Sweden: 1
Switzerland: 2
United Kingdom: 5
United States: 5
Venezuela: 1

Other questions:
What would you call your political ideology? I could broadly be called a green, decentralized Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, incorporating elements of many other ideologies such as Hoxhaism, Socialist eco-feminism, Gandhian thought, etc.
What is your religion? Atheist
Do you believe that morality is subjective? In certain cases, yes. We all have basic aspects of morality which we adhere to, but the larger framework is a result of circumstance.
