Abortion: Legal until the third trimester, unless the woman's life is at risk--then she should be able to abort in the third trimester.
Affirmative Action: Mixed feelings on this. I feel like it's kind of outdated now, but then some story in the news reminds me there's still some inequality.
Authoritarianism: I do not support.
Conscription: Depends. People shouldn't be forced to do anything, but if it's for the greater good of the country...I do think, however, females should be included and not just males.
Copyright law: To some degree, I actually am against copyright laws. People shouldn't profit from or take credit for others' work, but the bills US congress are trying to pass now to enforce these laws are gross violations of the 4th Amendment.
Corporate personhood: Hell to the no.
Death penalty: Hell to the no.
Democracy: Hell to the yeah.
Drug legalization: Why not? I do not take any recreational drugs myself, but if other people want to, they should have the right as long as they don't drive or operate machinery and all that jazz.
Economic ideology: Liberal.
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution.
Feminism: Meh...I don't like what feminism has become, or its negative connotation in society today. But I am for gender equality.
Free speech: Of coooourse!
Gay marriage: Make it legal.
Global warming: I do believe it's legal, but all arguments aside, when is pollution EVER a good thing?
Gun control: We need it.
Immigration (legal): Yes!
Immigration (illegal): No!
Imperialism/Militarism: No opinion.
Internet censorship: NEVER!
Israel/Palestine: This is a tough one. I'd support Israel if they would stop trying to expand. Can't they both just coexist?
LGBTQ equal rights: Yes.
Police: We need police, but they need to be monitored and held accountable.
Pornography: Legal.
Prostitution: Legal.
Racism: I'm anti-racist, and no that's not code for anti-white.
Redistribution of wealth: When the gap between the rich and the poor is as big as the gap between Madonna's front teeth, yes.
Separation of church and state: YES.
Taxation: Slightly higher taxes for the rich. See "Redistribution of wealth" for reasoning.
Unions: Yes...but some union leaders are bullies. Sadface.
Universal health care: Hm, mixed feelings. I guess I'll go with yes for now though.
Welfare: Yes. Some people are born into poverty, and as much as we'd like to believe that in the US it's possible to go from rags to riches, that rarely happens. Most poor people stay poor, and it's not a choice. Some people have disabilities that make it impossible to work, too.
Worker's rights: So important!
Youth rights: Yes, but not a priority.

What would you call your political ideology? Liberal
What is your religion? Former Catholic, now kind of atheist. Unsure, really.
Do you believe that morality is subjective? I guess so.

Sure, why not?
Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Decision between the woman, her doctor, and if woman cares for his input, the father. NOT the gov'mint/church/anyone else's business.
Affirmative Action: Hmmm. We should focus on individual achievement. Individuals from less-privileged families/areas have been shown to have a harder time pulling themselves up than their "luckier" peers, but "diversity quotas" most likely aren't the best solution. I suppose it'll have to do until we find a better alternative though.
Authoritarianism: Too easy for the folks at the "top of the heap" to abuse the lower-ranking folks...
Conscription: I understand why it would be necessary at times, but I still not fond of it.
Copyright law: If someone has an idea, they should be able to benefit from that idea. If someone steals an idea, the original "owner" of that idea should be able to defend their "possession" of said idea and ability to benefit from it. But the current system needs some overhauling...
Corporate personhood: No.
Death penalty: Depending on the particular circumstance. Can it be proven with absolute certainty that the individual was guilty? Not just "beyond a reasonable doubt", 100% no-way-around-it guilty. And was the crime severe enough? Execution methods should be humane.
Democracy: Yes, when not abused. Money = votes is a bad system.
Drug legalization: Regulate it so it's as safe as possible, tax it to make money on it instead of spending billions on keeping it away from people. Also let us look into the potential beneficial uses for something rather than just going "no it's bad because we say so none for anyone ever." Certain very dangerous chemicals do need to be handled very carefully, but plenty of prescription-only drugs already are...
Economic ideology: ...Currently unsure
Evolution/Creationism: Not mutually exclusive. Things have been observed changing in reaction to changes in their environments, like bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics, so evolution is more-or-less proven. But tracing evolution back, we do have plenty of unanswered questions. Where did that first cell come from? How did it come up able to replicate, to have a genetic structure that it could pass on, for that genetic structure to be stable enough to survive replication countless times, but still be flexible enough that the cell and its descendants could adapt to changes in their environment? I don't believe that can just be "dumb luck".
Feminism: Equality. For everyone.
Free speech: Yes. But like freedom of/from religion, that also means you can't force someone to put up with the bullshit you spew if they don't want to.
Gay marriage: I rather dislike marriage as an institution because of its history, but if Jack and Jill can marry, then Jim and Joe should be able to also.
Global warming: Definitely a thing. And not a thing I like.
Gun control: Not everyone needs a gun. If you've shown you're able to handle a particular weapon (have the right training, right licensing/permits, no criminal history, keep the thing stored properly/safely when not in use, are able to afford it), then why not. Just make the permits for the most dangerous weapons the most expensive. If you want to have it, you'd better be damned serious about it, not just getting it to feel tough or whatever.
Immigration (legal): If you're going to contribute something positive to this country, absolutely. Otherwise, go back "home" and be a drain.
Immigration (illegal): See above.
Imperialism/Militarism: There are better things we could be spending our money on.
Internet censorship: NOPE
Israel/Palestine: The problem was we put 'em too close together.
LGBTQ equal rights: Yes. See Feminism.
Police: Necessary, but abuses of authority/power should absolutely never be tolerated
Pornography: Yes, as long as the individuals involved in creation are all willing and not hurt
Prostitution: Yes, with safety regulations like any other industry
Racism: Ew.
Redistribution of wealth: It's a complicated issue.
Separation of church and state: Very yes
Taxation: Necessary, but the tax code could definitely use some updating
Unions: Needed, but they do take things too far at times
Universal health care: If handled correctly...
Welfare: Sometimes necessary, but drug testing should be required
Worker's rights: What rights, specifically?
Youth rights: Again, which ones? everyone should have human rights, but what extra stuff are we giving just to kids?

Rate your opinion of the following countries from 1 to 5, with 1 being strongly favorable, 3 being neutral, and 5 being strongly unfavorable:
China: Don't know enough about to properly judge/4
Cuba: Don't know enough about to properly judge/3

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: I honestly don't care. What Carl Sagan wrote on it. As a negative utilitarian, I'm not the fondest of ANY life forms dying, but the sociological effects of banning it seem to cause much greater suffering. So it should be be legalized. Just, hopefully, with better access to contraception and comprehensive sex education, there will be far fewer women finding themselves in that no-win situation of an unwanted pregnancy.
Affirmative Action: Treating the symptoms rather than the root, but acceptable enough while we have to endure the capitalist system.
Authoritarianism: To what end? Every state is, by definition, repressive. It's all a matter of whose interests they support and who they suppress.
Conscription: Again, to what end? If my country of citizenship tried to draft me, I think I'd very likely defect to whoever it was fighting. But that's just because of how my country would try to use military force.
Copyright law: A terrible idea.
Corporate personhood: Fuck no.
Death penalty: Ethically speaking, I have little issue with the death penalty for certain crimes that destroy another life (murder, severe mutiliation / rape / depending on the circumstances). But I sure as fuck don't trust the mostly corporate owned "justice" system that disproportionately targets racial minorities to dole that out. So in practice, for the US, FUCK NO!
Democracy: By literal definition of "empowering the masses", that is, the working class, I am an absolute supporter of democracy at any and all costs.
Drug legalization: All for it.
Economic ideology: State-owned industries for necessary goods, workers' cooperatives for luxury goods.
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution. Duh.
Feminism: Women are awesome. So fuck yeah.
Free speech: To what end? Actions, including speech, has consequences. As an advocate of Demo-cracy, those actions, including spoken words, that bring about needless harm to the demos (working class), ought to be stopped, based upon their end result in the material world. Speech which is beneficial to or neutral to (theories on science, religion, art; anything not directly dealing with politics or economics), the working class, ought to be entirely free.
Gay marriage: If we're going to have marriage at all (which I'm debating whether or not I feel is a valid institution that states ought to recognize), we should not discriminate based upon the gender of those entering into the said contracts.
Global warming: It's bad. Fuck the polluting piece of shit corporations.
Gun control: Anyone trying to disarm the working class is an absolute enemy of the revolution.
Immigration (legal): Whatever.
Immigration (illegal): Whatever.
Imperialism/Militarism: Very, very, very strongly anti-imperialist. This basically.
Internet censorship: See "free speech". Porn is nice. There, I said it.
Israel/Palestine: Israel.
LGBTQ equal rights: Entirely for.
Police Any state is by definition going to have law enforcement. It's a matter of what state and whose interests the laws are written in.
Pornography: See "internet censorship".
Prostitution: If sex is legal, and selling things are legal, it's absolutely absurd that selling sex is not legal. Regulate it for public safety, and get it off the streets.
Racism: A horrid contradiction brought about by the capitalist system.
Redistribution of wealth: Meh. Just "taking from the rich and giving to the poor", unless the underlying contradiction of the capitalist system and the polarization of wealth it creates is done away with, is topical at best. Destroy the root, not the leaves.
Separation of church and state: Obviously. Theocracy sucks.
Taxation: Depends entirely on the material conditions of the nation. They should go for the benefit of the demos though, not rich elite fucks.
Unions: A necessary institution in the fight against capitalism, but one cannot stop there.
Universal health care: An absolute human right.
Welfare: See "affirmative action" and "redistribution of wealth", basically.
Worker's rights: Demo-cracy defined.
Youth rights: Rather vague. I'm all for a universal age of consent for most age-restricted matters at 16.

Rate your opinion of the following countries from 1 to 5, with 1 being strongly favorable, 3 being neutral, and 5 being strongly unfavorable:
China: 2. Fine, I'm moving there in two days. 1.0000001 ^__^
Cuba: 1
France: 3
Germany: 3
Iran: 2
Israel: 4
Japan: 3
North Korea: 1
Russia: 2
South Korea: 4.99999999999999999999999999999 (They have PSY).
Syria (Assad regime): 1.5
Sweden: 2.5. The motherland.
Switzerland: 3
United Kingdom: 3.5
United States: 4.5. And I'm a citizen. What a mindfuck.
Venezuela: 1.5
Other questions:
What would you call your political ideology? Kimilsungism
What is your religion? Soft Atheism, Hard Agnosticism. I like Mahayana Buddhist philosophy, and the more I read into Judaism (NOT Zionism.... >___< ), the more respect I'm gaining for it on a lot of levels.
Do you believe that morality is subjective? Morality is the study of actions and their effects upon the material world. As actions have objective effects, there is an objective set of actions that leads to the most ideal state. To me, morality is about finding that. Thus, the goal, the ideal, is subjective; the fact that certain actions lead to it and others do not, is objective.
What is your Political Compass score? (optional)

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: If it's still an embryo, I don't have any problem with aborting it. After that, things get a bit fuzzier, but I don't oppose any abortion if the pregnancy is caused by rape or the mother's life is in danger.
Affirmative Action: Shouldn't exist, IMO. People deserve scholarships based on ability and economic need, not based on race.
Authoritarianism: I loathe it.
Conscription: I don't like it, but I have no qualms with it it if the country putting it in place is being invaded and civilians are at risk.
Copyright law: Way too strict.
Corporate personhood: What? Is that a thing now? If it is, it shouldn't be. Corporations are quite obviously not human beings, and thus do not deserve the same rights as a human being.
Death penalty: I have no problem with it, ethically speaking, if the crime is serious enough and they kill the right guy. In practice, it tends to either kill the wrong guy or use up more money than it would have taken to just lock the guy up for life.
Democracy: Best form of government, by far.
Drug legalization: Fine with marijuana legalization. Harder stuff shouldn't be legal, though, too addictive. People can be responsible with alcohol, tobacco, and weed, though, so I don't see any problem with them. People cannot be responsible with cocaine, and certainly not with meth, so they shouldn't be legal.
Economic ideology: Some form of socialism, I guess? At least nationalize the essentials, like energy, water, fire dept, etc., since there's no competition in energy or water treatment for a region. The only monopoly that should exist is a government monopoly, since that's the only one the people can ensure serves them.
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution is a fact. Creationism is lunacy, regardless of whether or not there is a God.
Feminism: Gender should have nothing to do with the rights someone has, the respect they're given, or their role in society. That said, it isn't a bad thing if people fall into the "traditional" role.
Free speech: The most sacred right we have.
Gay marriage: I have no problem with it. Love is love.
Global warming: Probably blown out of proportion. Regardless, we should work towards developing more efficient technology and moving towards more sustainable energy sources. Even if all the hippies are wrong and there's no global warming, we're bound to run out of oil sometime and I'd rather not be at the mercy of some tyrant or oil baron over in the Middle East or anywhere else.
Gun control: There's stricter licensing for cars than there is for guns. Something's not right with that. Not saying we should have stricter gun laws, just saying something's not right.
We're not really enforcing the current gun laws, either, so we should probably get around to that first. Honestly, though, the main issue is societal problems that cause people to be violent. Putting more gun control in place will just be a temporary solution, like a band-aid. What we really need to do is make it so less people want to be violent.
Immigration (legal): Good. Needs to be made easier.
Immigration (illegal): Not so good. If we made legal immigration easier, this wouldn't be a problem. I'd like to do away with national borders entirely, but that probably isn't feasible in my lifetime.
Imperialism/Militarism: Bad
Internet censorship: Bad.
Israel/Palestine: There should probably be some joint ownership going on, or something. They need to stop fighting and start talking, at least.
LGBTQ equal rights: I support them. Human beings are human beings, and they deserve the same treatment regardless of sexuality, gender, identity, what have you.
Police: Necessary, but some of them are a bit too brutal. overall, though, I don't mind them. They scare me a bit, and the ones who come to my school are really preachy, but they're necessary and essential to keeping crime from getting out of hand.
Pornography: As long as it's between consenting adults and doesn't in any way involve children, I'm fine with it.
Prostitution: A bit unsavory, but it's a business like any other. As long as everyone's clean and no one's forced into it, there's no harm.
Racism: Bad.
Redistribution of wealth: It would be pretty good. Too many poor people working their fingers too the bone, too many lazy rich people sitting on their asses all day. People who work hard should be rewarded. People who don't don't deserve much of anything.
Separation of church and state: Essential. Otherwise church would dictate state, or state would didctate church, and both are very bad things.
Taxation: Necessary. Otherwise, the government wouldn't have any money, and thus wouldn't be able to do anything and wouldn't be much of a government at all.
Unions: Generally beneficial, since they were instrumental in putting in place safety regulations and minimum wage and keep them from going away.
Universal health care: Sounds like a good idea for me. As long as it's not cosmetic, medical care should be available to everyone.
Welfare: Should exist to get people back on their feet and get them working again.
Worker's rights: Obviously a good thing.
Youth rights: Drinking age should be 18. First Amendment rights apply to everyone over 13. I don't really have much of an opinion other than that.

What would you call your political ideology? I don't know. Libertarian socialism? Liberal social democracy? It's leftist, libertarian, and frowns upon big business and big government.
What is your religion? Christianity, I suppose.
Do you believe that morality is subjective? Not really. Some things are more right than others, I guess, it's hard to quantify good and bad, but good and bad themselves aren't really debatable.

I'm doing it again.
Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Against.
Affirmative Action: Against.
Authoritarianism: I generally support it.
Conscription: I support it.
Copyright law: I like our current methods of punishing copyright violations. All punishments for all legal infractions should be more like them.
Corporate personhood: I don't fully understand this. Person as in being able to donate money to political organizations? Yes. If it's something else, it will have to be explained.
Death penalty: Completely for this.
Democracy: I'm against this.
Drug legalization: I'm against drug use of non-legitimate and non-therapeutic, recreational drugs and, therefore, legalization thereof.
Economic ideology: I'm generally capitalist but not necessarily completely.
Evolution/Creationism: I do believe in both.
Feminism: I'm generally against this.
Free speech: I am not an exponent but not necessarily an opponent.
Gay marriage: Against.
Global warming: I don't buy it.
Gun control: Somewhat for it.
Immigration (legal): Against. Stop immigration completely.
Immigration (illegal): Highly against. Execute all illegal immigrants. We need a better immigration service as well.
Imperialism/Militarism: I am for both, but I would like to note that the two are not the same.
Internet censorship: I am for that.
Israel/Palestine: I support the legitimate state, Israel, through it all.
LGBTQ equal rights: I am against these.
Police: I support them and believe they need more power.
Pornography: I'm against.
Prostitution: I'm against without a doubt.
Racism: Should my beliefs be found racist, then I support it.
Redistribution of wealth: I am against this if it is done by the government. If they voluntarily do it, i support it. Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.
Separation of church and state: I believe they should be connected.
Taxation: I am for this, though there are some taxes (such as the death tax) that I am against.
Unions: I am against unions. There was a time for unions, and that time had passed.
Universal health care: I don't support that.
Welfare: I believe in workfare.
Worker's rights: I am against these. The boss is supreme.
Youth rights: I am against these. That is a foolish idea.

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Conflicted. Leaning towards none whatsoever, but I reserve judgement.
Affirmative Action: None. Discrimination is all mental and an ideal society has none.
Authoritarianism: Excellent. Good policy.
Conscription: Necessary.
Copyright law: On one hand, removes some competitive drive from the capitalist market. On the other hand, people should be rewarded for what they do.
Corporate personhood: Yes.
Death penalty: For those who kill, or rape.
Democracy: Useless thing. But the era we live in views it as the driving force of good. So I can't say that without looking like an evil person, apparently.
Drug legalization: Somewhat difficult issue. Not sure.
Economic ideology: Capitalist, laissez-faire.
Evolution/Creationism: *sigh* I don't have any idea in what happened a million years ago, nor do I care.
Feminism: Sure, women should have rights. As long as they do the same amount of work as men.
Free speech: While it's useful in a democratic state like the one I live in;
Gay marriage: Sure. Go ahead.
Global warming: No comment.
Gun control: It should be full-on, Texas style laws. Open carry in all sectors of society.
Immigration (legal): Good, but limit it.
Immigration (illegal): Get rid of it completely.
Imperialism/Militarism: Good. Do it. Yes.
Internet censorship: In an ideal society..
Israel/Palestine: One state solution; Israel is Israeli and should stay how it is.
LGBTQ equal rights: Yes. As long as they do as much work as anyone else.
Police
Pornography: Good for health.
Prostitution: Moderation.
Racism: Get rid of it, forever, by any means.
Redistribution of wealth: Don't ever do this. Ever.
Separation of church and state: Should be complete.
Taxation: Tax everyone as much as the next guy- i.e. everyone pays 25% taxes, or some number.
Unions: Break 'em up.
Universal health care: Yes. In an ideal society, everyone is taken care of that works hard.
Welfare: There should be no one unemployed in the ideal society.
Worker's rights: None. Complete, total oppression.
Youth rights: Ironically, I believe in no rights for almost anyone, so youth fall in that category.

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Pro-Life/Situational Pro-Choice
Affirmative Action: "The best way to stop discrimination based on race is to stop discrimination based on race" - Chief Justice John Roberts
Authoritarianism: Authority should always be questioned and liable for the actions it commits.
Conscription: Military conscription should always be optional.
Copyright law: No one should be able to take credit for the genius of another. Copyright laws prevent this.
Corporate personhood: Absurd.
Death penalty: Pro.
Democracy: Pro
Drug legalization: Marijuana. Nothing else.
Economic ideology: Capitalist.
Evolution/Creationism: Creationism.

Immigration (legal): If someone goes through the proper process to get into the United States, it is perfectly fine.
Immigration (illegal): Amnesty is unacceptable.

Internet censorship: Against.
Israel/Palestine: Israel has just as much of a right to exist as Palestine does.
LGBTQ equal rights: Transgender people and delusional and mentally ill.
Police: The Enforcers of the law are not above the law.
Pornography: Certain types must be illegal, though an all out ban on pornography is just stupid.
Prostitution: Needs to remain illegal until the Government can come up with a way to regulate it.
Racism: White Supremists are all Nazis to me. Black Supremeists are all Black Panthers to me.
Redistribution of wealth: 50% tax rate on anyone is absurd.
Separation of church and state: The Church always has and always will have influence within the state.
Taxation: The Government keeps us safe. We should fund their attempts at doing so, however insanely high taxes are unacceptable.
Unions: No formal opinion.
Universal health care: Obamacare doesn't work. A system like Germany has does.
Welfare: Welfare to a certain extent is fine.
Worker's rights: Workers are given as many rights as I am comfortable giving them.

Your beliefs on:
Abortion: Support, without restriction.
Affirmative Action: Support.
Authoritarianism: Opposed, unless the proposed policy can be demonstrated to help prevent a more egregious form of power abuse (in other words, support for everything from laws against violence to anti-corruption legislation to heavy intervention in the markets to counter abuse inherent in capitalism). Strongly opposed in almost every social matter.
Conscription: Strongly opposed.
Copyright law: Moderately opposed. Strongly opposed to copyrighting of academic and scientific papers. If researchers deserve financial reimbursement for their research, it should come directly from the state. As the system is now, the vast majority of royalties go to corporations and firms rather than the actual researchers responsible for the discovery or work, and restricting access to advances in knowledge slows innovation.
Corporate personhood: Strongly opposed.
Death penalty: Strongly opposed.
Democracy: Strongly support. We should be shifting towards direct democracy in many situations.
Drug legalization: Support.
Economic ideology: Reformist leftist. Speaking broadly, I tend vote and advocate for positions somewhere between democratic socialist and social democrat, but my ideals are libertarian socialist/ancom.
Evolution/Creationism: Evolution.
Feminism: Strongly support.
Free speech: STRONGLY support.
Gay marriage: Strongly support.
Global warming: Quite easily the greatest environmental crisis humans have faced since society developed.
Gun control: Support.
Immigration (legal): Strongly support.
Immigration (illegal): Immediate amnesty and provisions to ensure that future immigrants receive the same economic protections US citizens receive.
Imperialism/Militarism: Strongly opposed. Military should be kept small and only used to stop particularly heinous human rights abuses, with international support for intervention.
Internet censorship: STRONGLY opposed.
Israel/Palestine: One-state solution.
LGBTQ equal rights: Strongly support.
Police: The right hand of the ruling class. In other words, either as good or as bad as those in charge.
Pornography: Uncensored and unrestricted aside from requiring written consent.
Prostitution: Legalize.
Racism: Strongly opposed.
Redistribution of wealth: Support, though it's nothing more than a tarp covering the rotten foundation of capitalism.
Separation of church and state: Something that shouldn't even be up for debate.
Taxation: Progressive.
Unions: Essential.
Universal health care: Absolutely necessary. Shouldn't even be a matter of debate.
Welfare: Generous and universal.
Worker's rights: The foundation of an ethical society.
Youth rights: Too often overlooked.

Rate your opinion of the following countries from 1 to 5, with 1 being strongly favorable, 3 being neutral, and 5 being strongly unfavorable:
China: 4. Authoritarian and suffers from economic inequity as bad as that of the United States.
Cuba: 4. Authoritarian and corrupt.
France: 2. Too centralized and has a worrying trend towards social authoritarianism, but it also has a healthy democracy with a politically active populace and functional and effective public services.
Germany: 2.
Iran: 4. Ruled by an oppressive and militaristic regime.
Israel: 3.5. Guilty of far too many human rights violations.
Japan: 3. Sexist and conservative, with a very troubling center-right party.
North Korea: 5. Horrifying dictatorship with an enforced caste system.
Russia: 4. Fuck Putin, seriously.
South Korea: 3. Unfortunate tendency towards authoritarianism, but I'll give them a pass because of the constant threat of nuclear attack from the North.
Syria (Assad regime): 4.
Sweden: 2. Progressive and humane.
Switzerland: 2.
United Kingdom: 3. I see far too many of America's worst tendencies in the UK.
United States: 3. Love/hate. Frighteningly stupid at times, and far too many are sadly lacking in compassion for anybody that isn't rich and white, but it's my home country, and I haven't given up hope yet.
Venezuela: 3.

Other questions:
What would you call your political ideology? Far-left reformist.
What is your religion? Atheist
Do you believe that morality is subjective? No, but the vast majority of what people consider "morality" has nothing to do with morality and are instead subjective personal and cultural preferences.
What is your Political Compass score? (optional)
Economic
: -9.25 (far left)
