There are at least a couple of vegan MMA fighters, Roman gladiators were probably largely vegetarian ...that seems more like dumb stereotyping to me.

I'm Asian, so looking pale is kind of a good thing. Vegetarians and vegans only look pale if they fail to replace the iron in their diet with iron from easily available plant sources.

Because those cuts of meat are sapient. Don't get me wrong, if I was starving to death and it was my only option I'd take it in a heartbeat, but not a moment before every other source of food was gone.

Would you still drive a car if petrol became prohibitively expensive? Meat prices will increase if supply decreases or demand increases. Based on current population growth figures, demand will increase significantly due to wealthier middle classes in developing countries and overall population growth.

No, we'd basically have one formerly very spoilt, very small generation at a time supporting two or three much larger ones. This is basically not super viable.
