Scottish Independence?

Postby Pales (Ancient) » Fri Mar 16, 2012 10:21 am

What do you think and why do you think it?

I persoanlly like the UK flag as it is, so I'd hate to see my country 'The UK' break up.

Yeah, we already have that big thread on Scottish Independence. Don't really need a second.

And for your flag, that'd work, but Wales is not technically included due to not being included in the Act of Union, since Wales was incorporated into GB way before Scotland was.

It means you lack the ability to recognise shapes and even the most basic of error will throw you off.

Nah. The Scots don't want to leave us and tbh I don't really see how it would change things.

What I do know is we will be getting these threads until 2014 :(

Like we would ever put the Welsh on our flag.

Are you serious? How are they oppressed? Considering that their "oppression" involves free university education and medical prescriptions- something which England doesn't get- I'll be happy to be in your oh-so evil chains of union.

Yes. Also, it's independence from the Union, not from England.

I thought you'd want to say England, as it sounds better in the press. Leaving a union sounds like becoming lonely.

No, Scotland when it will run out of oil will shrivle up and come back I think. Just save the independence and we won't have the lengthy political processes of independence and re-union
