I have to agree with the former: I quickly found the "rude Frenchman" stereotype has little to no merit.

Although I am saddened by the latter

The cities are the one part of Germany I don't like to go. I've never said, in fact, no-one's ever said, "I wish I was in Munich." And London, my dear fellow, is the best city on Earth.
