Bacon-Infused Bourbon

To put your own bottle together you'll need:

-750 mL bottle of good bourbon

-1lb bacon

-A pitcher with a wide mouth

-Fine mesh strainer

-Coffee filters

Start by frying or baking the bacon and reserve all of the grease. Unless you're a fan of bourbon that tastes like charcoal, don't burn it. Strain the grease and allow it to cool. Once cool, pour it into the pitcher with the bourbon and give the mixture a good stir. Put the whole mess into the freezer for a few hours or overnight and pass the time by chowing down on your pound of cooked bacon. When cold, the grease will float to the top and form a solid cap on the liquid. Pull the solids out and discard, then strain the liquid. It'll keep in the fridge for about two to three weeks.

Well, the best hard drink I've ever tasted is Grey Goose vodka and I definitely can't afford it.

When I party with my friends we usually have about 8 Smirnoff Ice's each, those taste damn good and can get you drunk fast since they're so easy to down.

My favorite beer is Corona.

Although, I do enjoy a good liqueur, I have recently had the 'pleasure' of having a marmite flavoured sambucca shot.... not nice.

I love Hoegaarden if I feel international and Innes and Gunn if I feel patriotic

And Kronenburg 1664 has to be the best draft lager which is commonly sold

Love Hoegaarden.. despite the price tag. Krombacher is coming to the US early 2011; I'll be counting the days.

When it comes to quantity over quality though, I will get High Life- I still think it's a step above Natty.
