He wasn't ever a real communist, either...communism is supposed to be everyone sharing everything and being equal of their own free will, with no government required (basically Anarchy + kindergarten Sharing philosophy).

Every country that calls itself communist, isn't. at best, they are/were extremely Authoritarian Socialists.

So, Kim Jong-il: Murderer, Dictator, liar.

Good fucking riddance. Another dead Communist leader is a step forward for the species, and his spawn that he appointed to succeed him... was caught in Japan after he fled the DPRK to go to Disneyland.

That's right. The DPRK's new leader is more loyal to Mickey Mouse than GLORIOUS JUCHE SOCIALISM.

He is your most likely candidate for power. He already holds lots of power within the military, moreover his father gave him tonnes of positions. He has been made most likely successor.

However, I see civil war, or if not, a war of succession. (Kim has other sons, they might be very, very jealous). In fact, most likely, each of them will take nuclear weapons then throw them at each other like children. It is indeed a concern. :p (See what I have done in those respects?)

Wrong Kim. Jong-un was raised in Switzerland.

His oldest son, the original heir apparant was indeed arrested, and has expressed no desire to rule.

Yeah, I know. I've seen some stuff from the Onion before. Still made me wonder, though: what does Kim Jong-Un have in store for us? Will he put on as much of a show as great as his father did? Guess we'll just have to wait...

Strange how this site has yet to announce his death on the homepage... :p

On another note, strangely, your link is broken...(probably because the regime panicked, turned it off during the funeral).

This would be the perfect time to liberate North Korea. The entire country is in shock, and if we'd act now the casualties would be much lower than they would normally be.

PRC is still standing behind it.

Unless you advocate "liberating" them too. Which is obviously the greatest idea ever

Except that their entire appearance is a ruse! The actual nation is flying high up in the sky, which is why they set up a no-fly zone. The thing we see on land is actually intricate holographic technology, and North Korea has successfully fooled all of us into thinking they are impoverished and is laughing it up in the stratosphere while they live prosperous lives with their advanced technology.
