Anarcho and council communism are the only true methods to achieve a communist society, all the others tend to retain capital and it's various manifestations and become forms of state capitalism. Plus anarchists are far cooler.

I would like to think anarchism is the ideal of society, but i know this is impossible at the moment.
so second best is marxism, the poor get to control their own income would be awesome.

Anarcho-communism.

Trotskyism is a great idea but totally unnecessary in my opinion. I think marx was not totally correct in his analysis: One does not first need to enter a period of industrialization or capitalism to achieve socialism followed by communism. Historically his ideas were able to be hijacked by the state capitalists of the Stalin era.

The state can be just as damaging as capitalism without the controls of direct democracy especially consensus, mutual aid, non hierarchical organization and non coercion.

I prefer a federation of egalitarian collectives based on free association. I also prefer gift economies, the abolition of property and money

Also the creation of community stores which everyone contributes and takes as they need.
