Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

And when they do cheat on their bed-ridden wives, it's just because they love the country so damn much...

At least, in my experience at least.

Like they did last time when all that internet support and fund raising equaled a handful of votes?

Not his complete disregard for human rights, not his complete ignorance of US Foreign Policy, not his complete and total idiocy with regards to US and World History and Geography. No, it was some stupid sexual bullshit that people couldn't handle.
It says something about this country, and what it says isn't good, >_>

Yeah, probably.Wikkiwallana wrote:Look, I'm already sick enough. Could you at least punctuate that, so my brain doesn't melt any further?
Melted brain syndrome, typical case of NSG exposure. *nods sadly*

Genivaria wrote:http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-cain-announcement-20111203,0,889996.storyHerman Cain, the insurgent populist whose candidacy has been ensnared by allegations of sexual impropriety, said Saturday that he is leaving the race for the Republican presidential nomination, saying that the allegations have cast a "cloud of doubt over me and this campaign."
"As of today, with a lot of prayer and soul searching, I am suspending my presidential campaign," he said at an event in Atlanta. "I am suspending my presidential campaign because of the continued distraction, the continued hurt . . . on me on my family, not because we are not fighters, not because I am not a fighter."
Cain's campaign had sent mixed signals as to his future since Ginger White, an Atlanta woman who claims to have had an affair with Cain for more than a decade, went public with her story earlier this week. While Cain has said he has been "reassessing" his candidacy, he also, at times, has been fiercely defiant, suggesting that unnamed enemies have been trying to do him in and vowing to press forward.
"The pundits would like for me to shut up, drop out and go away," he said. "I am not going to be silenced and I am not going away."
White's claims came after Cain faced weeks of allegations of sexual misconduct by at least three women stemming from his tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s.
Even as Cain continued to decry the claims as "false" and "baseless," they sheer weight of the scandal has taken a brutal toll on the campaign, diverting Cain from advocating the "9-9-9" tax plan that helped turn him into a household name almost overnight, costing him financial support, and damaging him in the polls.
He was also hurt by a series of costly gaffes and confused moments, particularly with regard to foreign affairs, that exposed the Atlanta businessman's lack of experience on the national political stage. Added together, the tumult persuaded conservatives looking for a champion to turn elsewhere, with most now casting their eyes at Newt Gingrich.
All I can say is, one down.

Cain rose to prominence in the race for Republican Presidential nominee and briefly led in the polls almost entirely due to his "999" plan to simplify the tax code. He denied that he plucked that plan from the video game Sim City, which had featured its own "999" tax plan.

But yeah, this is quite sad. I would've loved to see Hermain Cain as the president of the United States
hardly, he was another puppet like the rest, only difference was he apparently was a Sims Fan Ron Paul only real difference there, and a good one at that , tis a good day now if only half the other puppets drop out, then it be a happy month . regardless cain is gone, and whether guilty or not, its painfully obvious all those sex accusations got to him in earnest . the man jus cant handle the pressure. after all rremember the libya flub ....
