he isnt

your dog "loves" you and wants only to please you.

he'd love it if you took him outside right now for a little game of fetch.

does your jack russell dig up your yard?

Nah. He's good on that. However, he does bust our eardrums. I have two, and one of them barks whenever he sets foot outside.

I have and like Black Labs but I think next time around I will get something smaller so I can take it more places. Labs are so big that stores never let them in but smaller dogs they look past. I think I might get a pug and name it Frank like in MIB, lol.

I don't own a dog, anymore. Although I used to own a neapolitan mastiff named Grigori.

Dogs aren't inexhaustible balls of unconditional love. They do have other emotions, and yes, they can get annoyed or even vengeful. And long-term memory isn't just for learning your name or how to play fetch. If you remember what you had for supper last night, that's long-term memory.

My dog remembers that I feed them. There's ther people in my house, and every time they'd say 'food?' my dog would go look at my door. So, I don't beleive that dogs have bad memorys. They have better memorys then Chickens, thats for sure.

I only feed him at night. My brother feeds him in the day. Also, my dog remebered my step
brother after not seeing him for years. And dogs clearly remember when stuff they're not supossed to do. My other dog gets looks al guilty after he does somthing bad, which shows that dogs feel guilt.

They do in fact remember the first two. I don't think they care about Christmas.

no

the dog doesnt even know he did whatever the bad thing is. he just knows that .....if the trash is scattered about the kitchen the master will be angry. dogs learn through repetition. and they are very sensitive to human moods.

so much so that a dog will pretend to be OK around his master when he is sick or in pain.

Again, I have to say tsomthing against that. Earlyer my dog barked, and imediatly ducked his head down, looking guilty. To me that clearly shows that he knew he shouldn't have barked.

sure.

but if there are NO dog stockings with treats in them at christmas they wont resent that you didnt get them anything.

if you bring out the dog stockings full of treats in july they will be just as excited.

if you wash the dog stockings (so they dont smell like treats) and put them in the living room they probably wont expect them to be full of treats.

Well, I may stand corrected, haha. I always assumed mine got excited because of the excitement in the air in general.
