To start, no this is not established fact.

I speak of the stories of anti-Islam fear mongers and the statistical projections of some. Can it happen? The possibility always exists. Will it happen? Not likely, not within 50 years.

If it did come to pass, what would your thoughts be? If in 50 years your nation became a Muslim majority. Or if the law of Islam became the law of your land. All peacefully, of course.

I am interested to see your thoughts of Islam. Would you convert?

A muslim majority is not inherently bad. Depends entirely on what this "law of Islam" is and how extremist it is.

I'm not bothered about the demographics. But if Muslim beliefs are being enforced in law here 50 years from now then I'll drag my old, lazy ass to as many protests as I can until the government is ousted and the laws repealed.

I wouldn't care. Most second and third generation muslim immigrants in my country care only slightly more about religion than the rest of the population. Ie, they hardly give a shit. So, what would the difference be? From what I can see, the difference between christians and muslims are neglible. Hell, the christian democratic party in my country have a disproportionate support from muslims (enough that they have considered amending name from "Christian" to "Religious").

The united states has to deal with the fact that the Spanish and African American population are soon going to usurp whites as the majority soon. But if THEY all converted to Islam, that would certainly create an... Intersting political situation.
