Meaningless coincidences but still weird.

Hitler's death was on the night of the 30th.

Nope, yesterday. The operation was authorized last week.

Some people seem to think that you can't be proud of killing a man in this way.
Au contraire, I think America can and should be more proud of this operation and the intelligence activities behind it, than it can be of the crazy war in Iraq, or the rather pointless activities in Afghanistan.

So I'm wondering. A decade worth of mostly fruitless hunting.

Eight months worth of following a tiny lead up until confirmation.

Absolute secrecy to avoid Pakistani spais getting wind of the operation.

No, this happened on Sunday:
Twitter user unknowingly reported bin Laden attack

(CNN) – As U.S. forces in Pakistan swooped in on Osama bin Laden on Sunday, at least one Twitter user was unknowingly reporting details of the raid.

Some of the first public accounts of the military operation that killed the terrorist leader came in the form of tweets from Sohaib Athar, an IT consultant in Abbottabad, the city where bin Laden was found.

Don't we have a professional screen writer on these boards?

The Hunt For Osama set to Yackety Sax would be worth watching I think.

I don't know, it'll be tough to top Hot Shots Part Deux, which is one of my favorite movies ever.

Eastwood or Tarantino, no question about it.

Though knowing Hollywood, they'll throw it at Michael Bay.

Just let Charlie Sheen play himself, he'll top it effortlessly.
