I don't have much to say with it, besides I disagree with it, in all ways; But I want to see YOUR opinions, what should be done, what should be censored or what shouldn't be.

Some things have to be censored in order for the state to function effectively, troop movements comes to mind. But in general, censorship should practiced as little as possible.

As far as I know, everything worth censoring is already illegal. For example; It's illegal to breach national security, it's illegal to trade in corporate secrets, it's illegal to produce or distribute child pornography, it's illegal to publish libellous and slanderous material, and so on.

As such I don't think censorship really needs to exist.

If a couple of pervs want to draw pornograpic pistures of kids and write pornographic stories about them- well, just as long as I don't have to see it.

I don't think child porn is a censorship issue though. It's a consent issue, so, I don't think it'd be a problem with showing it, it'd be the fact that producing it is illegal.

Now if two guys talk about sex with kids on the web they can be arrested. That's wrong. Yes, I believe having sex with kids is wrong. But people should be able to say/draw/ write about what they want. Though of courseslander/libel and national security concerns would be different matters.

I kinda doubt anyone would go so far as to publish anything about me, so I'm not worried too much about it personally, but those acts can in fact cause damages for someone, something they'd be entitled reparations for.
