Well, I was watching a tv program about Regan and Roosevelt the other day, and I had a question, who would win in the upcoming presidential election, if these two were still alive and ran for president? Ronald Regan, or Franklin Deleano Roosevelt? One is a Democrat, and another a Republican, so who would win?

I'm not sure which bugs me more, the "content" of the thread or the fact that you couldn't spell either of the men's names correctly.

Both had lots of charisma but FDR imho. He got elected by the public three times and he started a lot of long-term programs.

The thing is Roosevelt wouldn't need to either hide or campaign on his having polio. In that, today's society does not have the same negative view on the helplessness of the handicaped therefore him being in a wheelchair would be a complete non-issue to society at the whole. And if any opponent tried to make a big deal out of it would be complete politcal suicide as it would only seem like an attack on the handicaped and disabled.

Thing is, I wouldn't put it past Fox News to be dicks about all of this and take shots at him for being in a wheelchair.
