Well, then perhaps the McD's CEO shouldn't be making that much money then. It's not like he's going to have a massive difference in pay compared to competitive CEO's in his market, who are also constrained in their pay by the same factor in comparison to their lowest paid workers at barely minimum wage...

I mean, we're squabbling over whether a single asshole is making 1.5 million or 3.5 million a year, while countless thousands of his employees can barely put food on their tables at home.

You're putting the entire industry at a disadvantage. And his employees are kids, and don't have to worry about putting food on the table.

All you've done here, Sib, is prove you've no fucking connection to the real world. Just stop talking and go back under your fucking rock. The simple fact is 51% of minimum wage jobs are held by those over the age of 25, and not everyone in the 18-24 category are students.

Actually a very disturbing trend is that a majority of the minimum wage workers in America are women, a good number of them single mothers who really don't have time for college at all between working and raising their kid.

Also,

Their parents, they borrow to pay for it, themselves, a grant or scholarship, or any combination thereof.

Let's assume I am an American and I don't have a scholarship, my parents are forking out a bill that usually, for most universities in America, cost about 20k yearly. Now let's also say I am middle-class, and my parent(s) make about 100k a year.

I don't think your parents are going to be footing the bill after paying their house mortgage, car payments, house bills, not to mention the State taxes. Also, this is not assuming they are not already putting another kid through college or do not have already another few kids, nor is this particular parent going through a divorce.

So let's correct your statements so far,

-Instead of most students being 'kids', they are actually students that actually are out in the real world as opposed to being in High-school.
-These students, contrary to your belief, do not actually exist in a Mickey Mouse cartoon and therefore they have to do hard work to get by. (In addition to their studies.)
-These students, to fit this bill, therefore work minimum-wage jobs, like McDonald's. And while it is fine to call them kids, to say that "they don't have to worry about putting food on the table" is some BS.
