Bullshit.
Not according to the CDCThe specific types of sexual violence assessed included rape (completed or attempted forced penetration or alcohol- or drug-facilitated penetration) and sexual violence other than rape, including being made to penetrate a perpetrator, sexual coercion (nonphysically pressured unwanted penetration), unwanted sexual contact (e.g., kissing or fondling), and noncontact unwanted sexual experiences (e.g., being flashed or forced to view sexually explicit media).

Great.
We should still teach our men to be less obsessed with boobs. There's definitely an issue with that.

If men weren't so desensitized by pornography and these revealing advertisements, the opposite sex wouldn't have to dress so abhorrently. The porn industry should be banned and advertisements should have tighter regulations on the contexts of clothing. Men shouldn't have to please themselves with pornography and women shouldn't have to objectify themselves to a high extent. Frankly, I don't think even men should please themselves without a female partner. It's an unhealthy practice that can be better experienced with your wife completely.Haktiva wrote:T Roosevelt wrote:I would really like to see dresses take a more casual return, I don't see women usually wearing them unless for special occasions now.
I actually really prefer that myself. I hate to say it, but when women have their goods out on full display, it pretty much saturates the sexual market. plus when men have access to porn for free whenever they want it for the most part, most women can't compete with that. I think they dress like that more for attention(unless maybe it's a gaming or comic convention, because guys kinds dress like that too), in that they feel sexy, but aren't looking for a date or a lay. It probably ends up desensitizing a lot of men too.

I mean how ridiculous to compare sexual assault to smoking. Clearly if a crime that has been committed since the dawn of time hasn't been eliminated its because of corruption in the awareness groups. Otherwise it would be in decline just like cigarettes right?

There's nothing masculine about being publicly naked; the most triumphant display of manhood is kissing your bride.

Great, now give me the actual legal definition of rape.
rape (completed or attempted forced penetration or alcohol- or drug-facilitated penetration)
The new Summary definition of Rape is: “Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”

What kind of display of masculinity requires a woman?
Don't shower, don't wear clothes, and walk erect with your head held up high. One whiff of your manly hormones, and one glance at your testosterone fueled march, and everyone in the room will bow to your superior alpha-male status.

According to the CDC(in the same article as above)rape (completed or attempted forced penetration or alcohol- or drug-facilitated penetration)
According to the FBIThe new Summary definition of Rape is: “Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”

First things first, the CDC and the study you linked to is not a legal definition of rape. Its a pretext for that particular study.
Secondly, the FBI definition does not in anyway prove your point that a male can be raped. Quiet the opposite in fact, as it lacks any gender qualifications and specifics on who exactly is committing the act.
At this point i'm not particularly convinced you have a solid understanding of the issue you're trying to argue.
Rape (except Statutory Rape)
The carnal knowledge of a person, without the consent of the victim, including instances where the victim is incapable of giving consent because of his/her age or because of his/her temporary or permanent mental or physical incapacity

Interest in breasts/breast size is a sexual fetish which can be possessed by anyone regardless of sex or gender. It has nothing to do with rape and is as much a culture as any other. Is a fetish for hairy armpits a sign of the existence of a rape culture? How about vomit?

There's one in Seattle, apparently.

That's where I start to disagree. Men and women should be allowed to get their sexual needs fulfilled by whoever they want so long as there is consent. I for one think marriage is bad for men, and dating is also dangerous too due to lots of risks for the man in the form of accidental pregnancies as well as other legate risks, so it's much better for them to use pornography.
And it's a mating strategy between the sexes. Men attract women through displays of wealth, resources, and utility when they aren't getting that much attention, and women become more sexual provocative when they aren't getting as much attention.
