This is why gay marriage will destroy American families.
Gays are made up of gaytrinos and they interact via faggons, which are massless spin 2 particles. They're massless because gays care so much about their weight, and have spin 2, cause that's as much spin as particles can get, and liberals love spin. The exchange of spin 2 particles creates an attractive force between objects, which is why gays are so promiscuous. When gays get "settle down" into a lower energy state by marrying, they release faggon particles in the form of gaydiation. Everyone is a little bit gay, so every human body has some gaytrinos in it, meaning that the gaydiation could cause straight people to be attracted to gays and choose to turn gay.

No, not those. At age 5 I had never run into the KKK. My first encounter with them was in 'Nam in '86.

According to my parents, I was terrified of the vacuum cleaner, and would dissolve into helpless sobbing if either of them even opened the door to the closet where it was kept. They solved this by convincing me that the vacuum was actually a dinosaur and it was just roaring because it was being a dinosaur. For some reason, I found that comforting, and stopped being scared.

Personally I'd find your average dino much scarier than a hoover.

One of my siblings used to be entertained for hours at age 2 or so by being placed in front of the washing machine and allowed to watch it spin.

We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? WHAT'S YOUR OFFER?!

Am I really the only one who doesn't find King Ramses scary in the slightest? Hell, Freaky Fred was creepy, but not brick-shittingly terrifying. Everyone in Courage the Cowardly Dog just comes back next episode anyway.

I thought King Ramses was "cool." But that ghastly giant floating white head completely terrified me.

Mainly because of the music, the music fit amazingly well to increase the creepiness factor.

Ouch.
See, after I sneakily woke up and caught it at six when I was ironically six, I quickly started to like the fact that my parents attempted to censor me.

Yeah. My mom didn't know my brothers watched it. In fact, they got in a lot of trouble the one time they were caught, but being boys, they continued to watch it when she wasn't home. I had learned long before that to not tell on them and to just suck it up... But that didn't help me at night when I tried to go to bed. I felt like Courage.

I remmember the boat ride in Charlie and the Chocolate factory scared me (it still does), so did heights (never got over that) and some stuff in Courage the Cowardly Dog.
EDIT: and a ghost in scooby doo it was the one that looked like a white sheet with black eyes and no mouth, It still sends a shiver down my spine

Yelling. Thanks to my parents, I was and am still frightened by intense yelling.
Also, I was heavily afraid of fungi. And I was(and still am) afraid of things(or people/creatures) touching me when I do not want them to.
