No, it is more like the opposite, with really bad and stupid threads infesting the General section ("PS3 Vs Xbox 360", "Does Obama want to scrap our flag and national anthem?", "How liberal is Communism?", and not to mention all those pointless religion threads... Cut me a break, seriously), all those snobbish members that goes mad if anyone, even newcomers, does the smallest mistake, a dictator moderator that locks threads because he can't realize it is impossible to prevent what he doesn't like (i ain't mentioning names). People only show interest against threads made by those "master posters" or whatever with 136,000,000,000 posts. If I, a user with only a few hundred posts, make a thread, it gets about three replies, generally by posters with a similar low postcount to me, and it doesn't get anymore replies from there, even if i bump it 6,000 times.

This forum is actually as bad as 4chan, if not even worse.

The only reason I am here is when i'm bored and i have nothing do.

My account is probably going to get deleted or something because i said this, but i really don't care anymore.

I have never seen a mod do that, and you must make shit threads then. That is all.

Edit: Also, people tend to jump on anyone who makes a mistake, not just new people. In fact, after amnosity has built up between players it can make it worse (See CM's decemation of Napotoc somewhere recent). The only time someone new gets targetted is when they seem to be trolling.

It depends on your personal interests and how you play it. One of my friends finds it hard to stay focused on and I'm the one with ADHD. I personally think that, due to its somewhat skeletal structure, it makes it more cutomizable than those other games out there where you have certain slots to fill in and a limited number of choices, here you can think up even the most obscure things about your nation to make it oyur own. I'm definitely addicted.
