I would rather be on NS than do meth, so does that make NS more addicting?

Maybe dragons took their jobs. Maybe unicorns only hid their jobs because unicorns are dicks. Maybe 'jobs' is only an illusion created by a drug addled infant pachyderm. Fuck dude, if we're in 'maybe' land, don't hold back.

"Why is self-control, autonomy, such a threat to authority? Because the person who controls himself, who is his own master, has no need for an authority to be his master. This, then, renders authority unemployed. What is he to do if he cannot control others? To be sure, he could mind his own business. But that is a fatuous answer, for those who are satisfied to mind their own business do not aspire to become authorities." ~ Thomas SzaszThe Empire of Pretantia wrote:[...] TLDR; welcome to the internet. Is NS addicting?

No, it is more like the opposite, with really bad and stupid threads infesting the General section ("PS3 Vs Xbox 360", "Does Obama want to scrap our flag and national anthem?", "How liberal is Communism?", and not to mention all those pointless religion threads... Cut me a break, seriously), all those snobbish members that goes mad if anyone, even newcomers, does the smallest mistake, a dictator moderator that locks threads because he can't realize it is impossible to prevent what he doesn't like (i ain't mentioning names). People only show interest against threads made by those "master posters" or whatever with 136,000,000,000 posts. If I, a user with only a few hundred posts, make a thread, it gets about three replies, generally by posters with a similar low postcount to me, and it doesn't get anymore replies from there, even if i bump it 6,000 times.

I have never seen a mod do that, and you must make shit threads then. That is all.
Edit: Also, people tend to jump on anyone who makes a mistake, not just new people. In fact, after amnosity has built up between players it can make it worse (See CM's decemation of Napotoc somewhere recent). The only time someone new gets targetted is when they seem to be trolling.
