Maine Democrats say that if Pillen convinces the Unicameral to eliminate PR electoral votes in Nebraska, Maine's Legislature would do the same to cancel out any possible GOP advantage

I feel like that was basically inevitable, I'm not sure what the Nebraska Republicans thought was going to happen.

The Biden administration is delaying its proposed menthol ban. The reason likely? And the 270 to win rule should be abolished.

And then it's possible you'd get the election thrown to the house much more often.

i do agree gerrymandering should be abolished. The thing is you need a national standard and unlike in the UK we don't have a national board that draws lines.

Seems worse than Mitt Romney strapping his dog to the roof rack of his car. A "survey found that 74% of Democrats, 66% of Independents, and 63% of Republicans consider it inhumane to put a family dog in a kennel on the roof of a car", I wonder what they think of shooting a still very young dog.

I think she ought to be investigated for animal cruelty charges. It sucks someone can't be charged with murder for cases like this.
