I'd though have to add in that regarding non-EU-migration, the UK has far lower numbers than Germany or France, and even Sweden ... and that is due to the opt-out the UK has from Schengen.

True, in a way. Being an island sure helps too.

ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

No, that would be unparliamentary. Have to say "Tony, teller of terminological inexactitudes says" then underneath a board flashes up with whatever he has just said.

Do you not have town halls, municipal buildings, buildings of the State in Britain? Why vote in a church, or a trailer?

Not every village has something like that. Most places where I live have an old miner's hall, but not everywhere has one.

What town doesn't have municipal buildings?

Is there a limit on how small a municipality can be in Britain? Do they not require town halls, or any other institution of the State?

We use lots of very small polling stations all over the UK that serve a few blocks of residents, rather than serving a larger area with fewer polling stations. Since there isn't a town hall or government building in every area, often churches, historical sites, schools, museums, cafes/pubs etc... are used instead.
