Some people are inherently worse.

What's your proof.

You can't prove something to be good or bad, better or worse. That's subjective.

As conflicting as it might sound, I don't believe the Queen is worth any more than me as a human being. However, I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of 'equality' in exchange for all the other benefits of monarchy. In any case, we're not forced to curtsy or bow to the Queen and our passports say we're citizens of the United Kingdom (not subjects). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... ssary.html

It's not very hard to realise some people are worth more than others, is it?

I'm a monarchist because I was brought up in a country that has a monarchy and they are in our national anthem. Plus monarchs are awesome.

This is why I favour 'economic class', rather than social class.

I can forgive social inequality, if people have actually earned it through promotion and personal development. But the royal family don't do shit. I could even learn to forgive it there was a red toryism style situation in place, but I don't even see that. Here in the UK, they don't appear to do anything other than Prince Charles does a wanky speech talking about how green he is, and that's it.

There is nothing intrinsically 'better' about the royal family than other people, just because they are royal.

I triggered a dog today by accidentally asking it if it was a good boy. Turns out it was a good aromantic demisexual neutrois. I didn't even know.

There's a poll now. If you fit into more than one category pick the one that fits the most.

Guys, let's debate; not post pictures of politicians perceived to be idiots (although they probably are).

In a way, most political discussions concerning western democratic countries is essentially parroting and mimicking the ideologies that political parties promote. So really, political discourse is essentially just a glamorous, more wordy, way of posting pictures of political party leaders anyway.

All excellent examples of why constitutional monarchy is the best HoS at representing a country on the international stage.

Oh, or Japan?

Seriously, having a monarch doesn't magically unite a country.

He or she can serve as a rallying symbol that is easier to affix to than a set of ideals or values, but it doesn't automatically happen.

Out of curiosity, do you know if Emperor is an accurate translation of the Japanese monarch's title?
