Seriously, a $1,770 burger? It sounds like a kludge, a mash-up of high end ingredients thrown together just to say they could. I can't imagine that it tastes very good, with all those rich ingredients in there competing for supremacy. I bet Gordon Ramsay would tell them they're trying too hard. And this is from an American diner-style restaurant called Honky Tonk. I don't believe these people understand what a REAL American style diner is.
What do you think, foodies of NSG? If given the opportunity, would you try such a burger or would you pass (I'd pass)? Is it trying too hard, or not hard enough (IMO, it's trying too hard)? Could you design a burger for less, that would taste restaurant quality (yes, I could)?
