SWB: Shopping While Black

Postby Condunum » Thu Aug 07, 2014 11:02 pm

You'd think the title is a joke, but it's not.

22 year old John Crawford was shot and killed by police, in an Ohio Walmart store.
Video

His crime? Shopping for an air gun in the store. His sentence? Death by cop.

Basically, a racist fuckwit called the police because he saw a black man with the audacity to consider purchasing a wal-mart product. Is he certainly racist? No, maybe he's just really, really fucking stupid. Like, really stupid.

Thoughts, NSG? Should the dumbass who called the police face time for this?

The best part is that if he was white, Ritchie would have probably just considered him a patriotic american defending his second amendment right by open carrying. Because if you're white, you can carry weapons in a wal-mart. But fuck me, don't let that n_gger touch the air guns.

Misuse of police resources is a crime. I'm also going to expect he's gonna get sued for everything he owns.

It doesn't make sense why the police shot him. One dude calling the police for no reason is one thing, but why did they shoot him?

According to the article, the man who called the police felt threatened because the man pointed an air gun (Which apparently looked like a real gun) at random people. If he felt threatened, he should damn well have the right to call the police.

However, he shouldn't have been gunned down at all. That was horrible of the police to do. It's the police's fault; not the man who called them.

No one gave the same story. Only the Ritchie's phoned the police. No one else was threatened. The victim is not at fault, at all. he was fucking shopping.

I hate how the article suggests that Walmart stops selling guns all because some uneducated cops killed a customer.
What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

Was it deliberate misuse with the intention to kill?

Have you read what is said on other news sites? The one you posted is blatantly anti-police. What I read is he opened the package the gun was in, then proceeded to walk around the store with it. Scaring other shoppers and then would not drop it when told to. It had nothing to do with his race.

No, the cop on the other hand should face negligent homicide. He was dumb enough to think airsoft guns are real guns and killed a man over it in a Goram WalMart.

Okay, so you're saying that, because nobody else called the police, nobody felt in the least bit threatened?

If someone pointed an object at me that looked like a real gun, I'd feel pretty threatened, honestly. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't, actually.

Was Crawford wearing a hoodie?
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

Could have been a heat of the moment thing. Police officers are trained to react when someone is holding something that could be a gun, and he repeatedly refused to drop his air soft gun.
